Needacoke...do you have a pic of him ? Is he a good singer ? Kittykay....I also noticed very limited public comments by Leila @ ALF, so have no idea to what degree she was involved. I know that Adam said last summer that she would be "running" his fansite...guess that was then, and this is now. Boy, this sure is a slooooow day. Didilynn...did you all have a GNLive viewing party last nite? How was it? Why thank you for asking - it was fabulous! I don't have a 100+ inch screen like Mayumi but mine is 52" and even better I have 7 speakers mounted around the room including a sub-woofer. We cranked it UP and it truly was almost like we were at the concert. There were 8 of us (well my daughter drifted in and out so 7 really) - and we drank over 6 bottles of wine ;D! Yeah, I "may" have woken up with a bit of a headache today  . We had so many delicious snacks (thanks to momtomany, noangel, scorpio, and the others!) and I got into it with a bit of Adam themed decorating too. We had an "opening act" DVD - the Adam Lambert Journey that many of us hadn't seen, then onto the concert DVD. I love our Northern Calif. "glamberts" - thank you to all for coming! It sounds fabulous. I would love more details or a few pictures. One more reason to be jealous of the California peeps - LOL. |

So much fun, and thank you so much, Didilynn, for hosting the group of us cray glamberts fans! I had kept myself ~pure by not watching the GN Live DVD til last night, and I was just blown away by it. Honestly, it was almost as good as being at a concert. Loved the editing, loved the artistry of the color vs. black/white footage. Definitely would have liked more close-ups, but I can almost see why it was done this way-- felt very much like an in-person concert experience. I barely noticed Ms. Long Arms. It was hard to notice much other than Adam. All *ahem* parts of Adam...  I especially loved IIHY. The editing really captured the joy and excitement of the song. Overall-- freakin' awesome!!! We're so lucky to have this as a memento of Glam Nation! |

Does anyone have a theory of why Leila is leaving the fanclub? She was never publicly very involved. Are they planning to revamp it? I find it as hard to navigate as AO. Does Leila not want to deal with the cray side of fandom? I say that because of this tweet. I think it's good that she's not involved in the fan club. If it were my son, I'd rather be involved behind the scenes. Actually, in the GNTL vid there ARE a couple of close ups of Adam's face. They are during IIHY... and his face is drenched in sweat and looks like sex. The two cuts are so quick they are almost subliminal.
The effect is subtle and yet very powerful. It is masterful the way the editors used them to add to the intensity of the climax.
