Hey!!! I don't think I was dreaming it - I thought I heard Kicking In at the end of the Beach Volleyball competition. Just instrumental - and the chorus part - can you feel it kicking in. Maybe someone in the next earlier time zone can check it out. I'm going to watch tonight, pacific time zone. That part of the song is perfect for it, huh?!! Let me know if I am hallucinating!

Adam is closing the Summer Sonic dance stage at 20:05 -- Green Day is closing the rock stage. Adam has a great billing and will have a big crowd -- Gotye, Nellie Furtado, THRILLER Live (15 minutes), then Adam. Schedule in English: www.summersonic.com/2012/timetable/tokyo0818_day.htmlETA: And before all of them is on the Sonic stage is SBTRKT. Adam is on the stage I would be at. Aww, he is at the venues on opposite days of KESHA and RhiRhi! I also see his friends Vintage Trouble are playing there! So, Q3, he appears to be the closing act for his stage, which appears to be the Pop stage. Wondering if you have any guess as to what he might be making for this? I know the Japanese promotors pay a lot, but what do you think. I want him to make lots of $$$$$$ ;D Just a note, Gotye got one of the worst reviews I have ever seen for his live show in San Francisco a few months ago! I hope the crowd doesn't leave or fall asleep during Gotye Clearly San Franciscans lack taste. I love Gotye and he can be fun as long as he is not the whole show -- pre-warm up act for Adam is really good. Call it Pop, call it Dance Pop -- this is the party stage. Right place for Adam.

Just gotta say... I'm a fan of Adam forever, and I'm a fan of this fandom! I am so thankful for all the people all over the world who have shared pictures, videos, tweets, recaps and technical expertise. And, of course, I wouldn't be able to find most of those things without this wonderful place. Thanks to Q3 and all the mods and anchors who keep this place up and running whether there is news or not. (But haven't we gotten spoiled? One day without news and we're whining... Think back one year!) To all:

Lots of questions: I know nothing...is this an indoor or outdoor festival ..or a combo of both???? Actually these stages would have to be pretty far apart... The stage he is on is the only one that goes all night til 4am. Does that mean is is a "GOOD" stage to be playing on? wrote this a little earlier....there are other bands that follow Adam...going until 4am.. Click on the midnight times...it shows the bands/groups that follow Adam. That is why I intimated /asked re this being the best stage??? www.summersonic.com/2012/timetable/tokyo0818_night.htmledit: Nellie Furtado, a Canadian (yah!) is also ahead of Adam...a great live performer...good news!!!

I remember reading that the Marine Stage (where Green Day appears) holds 30,000, while the Sonic Stage (where Adam performs) holds 10,000. So if Adam is the headliner in the 10,000 capacity arena, at this stage in his career, he is doing well.

There are some excellent quality 1080 vids of the whole show out there. For the 1st & 3rd shows, check out Thefilmqueen's vids on Youtube. For the 2nd night, Talc has about the best so far. Use a DVD maker and join the files. I think you'll be pleased with what you see. There is a torrent of London 3 posted on TheQueenZone if you want to burn a DVD from raw files. I am not very good technically. What DVD maker do you suggest and what is involved in joining the files? Maybe if you want to respond you can answer on the technical thread. Really appreciate it. Several suggestions for DVD making software is on the technical questions thread in Reply #13. I just added another software to the list. Instructions for using one software is in Reply #11. Several methods for downloading video files from YouTube are in Reply #22, #23, & #29. See the technical questions thread at: www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=announcement&thread=992&page=1

Have you seen him live? The reviewer liked his music too, until the live show.
