Lots of questions: I know nothing...is this an indoor or outdoor festival ..or a combo of both???? Actually these stages would have to be pretty far apart... The stage he is on is the only one that goes all night til 4am. Does that mean is is a "GOOD" stage to be playing on? wrote this a little earlier....there are other bands that follow Adam...going until 4am.. Click on the midnight times...it show and the bands/groups that follow Adam. That is why I intimated /asked re this being the best stage??? www.summersonic.com/2012/timetable/tokyo0818_night.html The biggest act on Saturday night is Green Day and Adam is on at the same time on a smaller stage. But Adam is not up against a big pop act and he has a great time slot. At midnight, the Sonic Stage switches to a different show -- kicking off with Pennywise, the Canadian Punk Rock band. Some of the other acts I do not know. -- In Osaka (Sunday), Adam is also on at the same time as Green Day again. -- Adam is not the biggest star performing but he is headliner for the Sonic Stage. Line-up Day 1 - Tokyo / Day 2 - Osaka Marine Stage: Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Yoshi Kazuya, Lostprophets, The Vaccines, Grouplove, One OK Rock. Mountain Stage: Sigur Ros, The Hiatus, Death Cab for Cutie, Passion Pit, Crystal Castles, Mac Miller, The Knux. Sonic Stage: Adam Lambert, (Nelly Furtado - Tokyo / Soulwax - Osaka), Gotye, SBTRKT, St Vincenet, Grimes. Beach Stage: Begin. Rainbow Stage: Iceage, Nothing's Carved In Stone, Toy, Hydro Da Hero. Let me know if I am hallucinating! What time did it end? Did they drag the game out alllllllllll night like they've been doing with gymnastics? OK I found your question. No. They did not drag it out. They covered it all straight through without cutting to anything else. It was over pretty early in the evening and the rest of the time was track and field. I don't want to be the spoiler but I think it was playing after the match was over and the winners were being interviewed. People were dancing in the sand.

You didn't answer my Olympics question :( I missed it! What was your Olympic's question? I asked if they showed beach volley ball like a real game or if they dragged it out all night like they did the gymnastics? & What time was the game over?

It was over relatively early. They didn't cut to anything else. See my post further down. More details

FWIW I watched the volleyball and didn't notice Kickin In, though that doesn't mean anything as I wasn't looking for it. But they did play Another One Bites the Dust right at the end, as they have been the whole tournament right before a team loses (always strikes me as a little mean--at least they could wait until after they lose--they do it before "match point"). And yeah, it was on towards the start of the primetime broadcast, and they show the whole game.

NBC has been playing American music in their broadcasts but the music in the Olympic venues is supposed to be all British -- and they are using a ton of Queen music. So if Kickin' In was played at the end of Beach Volleyball, it was on the US Broadcast/NBC.

You would need to listen for it and also, I could be nuts. I have been going nuts waiting for a) another more "real" picture of the hair AND/OR b) SOME COOL RESOLVING KIND OF NEWS
