I wouldn't say I'm quite a bubble blower yet  And sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...but my gut tells me that they have at least had some internal discussions . Have they been dismissed already? Quite possibly. The fact that QOL moved the QAL threads to the Dear Friends sections (which is a section for past collaborations, etc.) instead of as a current project is a dark mark against something else happening). And quite possibly Spike was hoping for something and when someone (B,R or Jim Beach) got wind of the quote, let him know it wasn't happening. BUT things change and the fact that it was successful and further dates have not been ruled out - *shrug* I'm going to choose to be positive  - it sounds as QOL gets direction from B&R directly? Is it managed by the Queen organization with proper "official" input? (I thought it was a fan site alike ATOP) |

Lol, I hate the blond and the melvin! But, I am basically 75%/25% on the hair---meaning, I probably only really like Adam's hair about a quarter of the time. The beauty of it is that the hair is constantly changing, it is so not important. And, obviously, the hair isn't the reason I follow the guy He does keep it fun. |

Blondes definitely have more fun by the looks of the recent trend in celebrity hairstyles. First Tulisa then Miley Cyrus and now Adam Lambert has opted to dunk his locks in the blonde hair dye pot. The American Idol star is the latest celebrity to ditch his brunette locks in favour of bright blonde ones. And he certainly gets the award for most drastic change - after previously sporting jet black hair until YESTERDAY.

Definitely Melvin--most comments I've seen about the blond hair have been positive. Not all, but most. I don't recall anyone who loved the Melvin. |

(I thought it was a fan site alike ATOP) It is Queen's Official site and the forums are the extension of that. It is run by an Administrator (screen name as well). There is...vague "oversight" from Queen Productions. I don't believe it is monitored by anyone higher than Administrator but sometimes things are decreed...and supposedly one of the things decreed initially was the opening of a Queen + Adam Lambert section to discuss the collaboration. Supposedly the move from the Current Projects to the Dear Friends came from discussions with Administrator signifying there is nothing in the pipeline as of now. I am 99% sure that B&R aren't personally involved with the running of the forums but Administrator is certainly involved with Queen Productions company. They authorize all the press releases on the site, etc. and the Administrator will pull the trigger when told to kind of thing. I think it's kind of a hierachy like so: (John Deacon - off to the side, supposedly with veto power but he is very much off the grid) Brian - Roger - Jim Beach (Queen Manager & Executor of Freddie's Estate) Then underneath Jim Beach would be the rest of Queen Productions. Then underneath some facet of Queen Productions would be the Website/Forums, where Administrator is King. Of course B&R can influence the website through Beach, but I think the day to day operations go through Jim Beach and his people. SO That is a mark against it - BUT with so much going on they might want to clear the plate for current projects - Olympics/Freddie's Barcelona re-release, The Great Pretender Documentary coming, RT's solo album, Brian May working with Kerry Ellis again, Live at Budapest DVD/blu-ray and while Adam is doing his own thing. It could easily be resurrected say next year when/if they did something....*shrug* queenzone is the ATOP of Queen... |

People are seriously going overboard with how they are brokenhearted, how they still love him inspite of the hair and whatnot. Melvin was a piece of cake compared to blond Adam. |
