Anybody know who Cat Watts @catshawl is? In response to doug - Although I take that with even a LARGER grain of salt if possible...like Empire State Bldg. For me at this point if Queen is going to tour it will be with AL. For whatever reason they won't go with B&R fronting the band (I still think they could  ). The interesting addition was forthcoming news after the Olympics? A few possibilities: a. Someone (Possibly even Doug) got confused and is confusing a Queen tour with a We Will Rock You (the Queen musical) Arena Tour? They announced about a month ago that there would be a worldwide We Will Rock You Arena tour and named some dates for that. No American dates were announced. PERHAPS that is what Doug was even on about .... b. Queen + Jessie J world tour! No. I'm kidding there. With the one article stating it would be Queen + Jessie J at the Olympics...But no I can't believe that. They wouldn't be setting up for anything like that. c. Queen + Paul Rodgers reunite? - This has a slim possibiliy - I'd say 10%. There was speculation pre AL that PR would sing with Queen at the Olympics from quotes from PR and RT that both said they'd be open to performing together again. THere's a chance that Queen feels rejuvinated and has talked with Paul and if Adam was busy with Trespassing they'd decide to go out with Paul again. I think this is highly unlikely as well but more likely than B.  Honestly as sad as it might be to think...I'm starting to think that A. is the real deal...and I could see why Doug or whomever would mistake it for a Queen tour. , yes I think B&R can fronting Queen, but IMO it will be like Q+PR, limited only to certain songs. Also, I agree with you that it's possible people confuse the Queen tour with WWRY the musical. After the EMA, Roger did a few interviews and he was asked if Queen will reunite with PR, and Roger said that's not going to happen, it has something to do with Brian doesn't want to work with PR anymore. I forgot if it's a radio interview or a video. The only way possible to tour with Adam is if they do it after Trespassing. GNT tours were done in 6 month. So fall next year? ;D |

Don't cry - everyone doesn't hate NCOE like you do. I love it and I'm sure the Japanese fans will love Adam singing it too. 8-) awww. thank you... Who are the "deciders" at AI who will choose the judges? Are they the same as before or is it a different group? Does anyone know? Fox Executives are the one who decide who's going to be on the judging panel. |

I thought a lot about that - whether his 'organic' phase was just him toning it down for the US radio or it was where personally he was at, mentally speaking. And I decided that the former is offensive to him and out of character for him - Adam never does that, he never conforms. In the recently published Youtube interview with Stephanie Faleo he said something about wanting to make it just about the music this time around. ETA - 4Msrmyn, jinx!  That's not true. When he performed in Malaysia, he agreed to tone it down to conform to their cultural standards. Other performers such as Lady Gaga and Beyonce have refused and been denied permission to perform. Adam chose to conform and thus did perform. None of us really know why Adam chose to present a so-called organic look during his ineffective radio promo tour. He may have been into that look at the time or, for all we know, he could have viewed US radio as this country's version of Malaysia -- a conform-to-perform situation. adam might not like to conform to demands but adam is a character I can see who will respect to certain needs that actually will put him in the best situation possible.. when I met him in malaysia during the m & g I even apologise to him about the protocals he has to go through in our malaysian regulations.. but he was all smiling and nice..and I can see it was not fake.. he said "oh it is nothing..no big deal.." yes..honestly it was only a small matter because what we ask them to do is what my country ask from all other artist too..no sexy clothes..no sexy moves like groping or kissing on stage..no opening cloths..no religious sentiments.. and again it is to all artist..not to adam only and I think adam understand about that and he happily obliged to it without any resentment.. oh and yes..I am still on the clouds until today for getting so close to him on that october 14th 2010.. |
