If Idol/Fox continues with this "Everybody & their uncle is being considered" it will soon turn into a big snooze fest. There comes a time when boredom sets in & that time is fast approaching. For me anyway. I don't even bother who's who anymore... tired of all these idol judge news |

In my opinion, co-touring doesn't help much with record sales. It will help, but not a lot. I just think about me, I've heard Gaga's songs, I like them, but she hasn't won me like Adam has. I don't feel the need to support her and buy any of her records. Though, she is huge, if Adam is going to co-tour with her , I don't think she can turn me into a fan who is going to buy her records, even though I may enjoy her performance. I think it's the same with other fanbases. They are loyal to their artists. There will be converters from co-touring for sure, but I don't think the number of converters are considerable.
If you look back, Adam has had concerts with current artists and with a legendary rock band, but these don't make much impact on the record sales.
That is why I think co-tour doesn't help. I don't know if there is any better way for Adam to gain fans than AI, when the radio is not supporting him. There are still many people who don't like Adam just because they don't know him. What they know about him are only the negative things like the AMAs, or the inccident in FInland etc..., and these have prevented them from appreciating his voice and his music. I hope AI would help them see the other side of him and eventually fall in love with him and want to support him.
Now the AI opportunity seems to be a very long shot, What else do you think Adam and the label should do to promote the single and boost the CD sales?

adam might not like to conform to demands but adam is a character I can see who will respect to certain needs that actually will put him in the best situation possible.. when I met him in malaysia during the m & g I even apologise to him about the protocals he has to go through in our malaysian regulations.. but he was all smiling and nice..and I can see it was not fake.. he said "oh it is nothing..no big deal.." yes..honestly it was only a small matter because what we ask them to do is what my country ask from all other artist too..no sexy clothes..no sexy moves like groping or kissing on stage..no opening cloths..no religious sentiments.. and again it is to all artist..not to adam only and I think adam understand about that and he happily obliged to it without any resentment.. oh and yes..I am still on the clouds until today for getting so close to him on that october 14th 2010..  Yes, no big deal for Adam, and you guys got a FABULOUS CONCERT!!! I still remember how excited the Malaysian fans were, and the joyous vids we got afterward!! |

There are some trailers on YouTube for Pitch Perfect but I cannot watch them right now, but maybe that would give us a clue?? |

I'm thinking that American Idol/Fox is starting to look indecisive,ridiculous and empty headed. Let Adam sign on the dotted line already and move on.. geez. I completely agree. Pretty soon they'll be a laughing stock with the press. As much as I want this for Adam I'm starting to hope he distances himself from this idiocy. He's been one of the few that have shown class and not commented beyond his original comment (3 weeks ago?) that he would love it. If Brad Bessey thinks it's a long shot then I'm lowering my expectations. Better for my health anyway.   Just saw the Byron Cooke tweet.  He's a pretty cute guy but looks ridic with the photo-shopped blond. Adam will look SO MUCH hotter!!! He hasn't commented because he has it! |
