Adam, Mariah, Paisley, and Pharrell would be the MOST perfect panel! They would be so much better than the Voice or XF! The positive press will go on for days!! 4 judges will work because they went to 2 hours for the whole season, last year. Also, XF and The Voice all have 4 judges. This panel would mirror the Voice panel. Something for everyone. And, these 3 men could work with a Diva (I think.) I am sure that had to be a consideration because of Mariah! The judges rounds will start in Sept. LA will probably be the first city. Paisley's tour will not interfere. He takes breaks between tour stints. He has 3 weeks off starting 8/25. It just happens to be right around when Adam will be back from OZ.  Since we're in the speculation mood. And JUST for fun. I say depending on today's info too, that they might have chosen Trespassing as the new single because of Pharrell and Adam being in the idol panel. Like, watching them on idol performing the single together. It would explode. Crazy, I know but I like the thought of this whole speculation! Haha Don't judge me, I'm just being silly . |

Well... maybe it will be a mentor type position? But would a mentor start in September? It seems like that wouldn't start until January. |

I don't think it's crazy, gelly. I had the same thought regarding the Adam/Pharrell connection. I still hope/think the new single will be "Cuckoo," though. They can introduce "Trespassing" at the end of the season (after Adam premieres "Shady" at the beginning of the season with Nile and Sam ), and after the audience has gotten to see Adam and Pharrell interact together and they're invested in them and have lots of goodwill toward them. Then the song will explode for the summer! That's what I'd do if I ran the world. But I'm ecstatic any way it plays out for Adam because his future's gonna be fantastic!!!!! |

My opinion of Google translate is based on a couple of times I did try to use it this spring and found it not helpful at all.
It might work decently if both languages are of the same family (structure is similar). For Finnish it seems to be useless because our language works so differently. GT may give an idea of the contents - but in our case it might be best to translate from the source language to another language which we can speak (better). Also the silly suggestions might give an idea of a possible meaning that did not occur to us and thus trigger some thoughts that we can use in translating.
About Adam's 'job' I think we have to rely on japanese friends and their perceptions - and most importantly, just wait for the real announcement.
