Fust FYI, the info comes from more than just the Google translate. It was also triangulated by a Japanese fan (well-known in twitter fandom) who talked to one of the fans attending the event in Japan:

@_life_traveler I don' think it's about new single. He may have used the word "work" in English tho.So who knows, but it's looking good. Even if he used "work" in English it seems unlikely he would be referring to a single. We'll just have to wait and see, but I will say that I can't keep my expectations in check anymore dammit! Yeah, bani doesn't need google translate! bani always has the best quality Japanese magazine scans dating back to 2009. She is a long time and reliable source of info. |

I think it's Idol! And I think he's known it for awhile. A panel of Mariah, PW, BP & Adam would be amazing! I personally could do with out BP, but I'm guessing they want a country judge. And I'd prefer a 3-judge panel but if it's four including Adam
I'LL TAKE IT!!!!
Not going to actually flail until we know for sure.

I really trust @bani -- she has always provided reliable info. -- I am excited but also reserving some of that excitement in case she was misinformed or all of us are misinterpreting it. It appears Idol announcement will be made soon -- MJ has been saying she expected it after the Olympics. -- Frankly, I am more excited about the info that he said MORE SINGLES and MORE VIDEOS.  |

Adam, Mariah, Paisley, and Pharrell would be the MOST perfect panel! They would be so much better than the Voice or XF! The positive press will go on for days!! 4 judges will work because they went to 2 hours for the whole season, last year. Also, XF and The Voice all have 4 judges. This panel would mirror the Voice panel. Something for everyone. And, these 3 men could work with a Diva (I think.) I am sure that had to be a consideration because of Mariah! The judges rounds will start in Sept. LA will probably be the first city. Paisley's tour will not interfere. He takes breaks between tour stints. He has 3 weeks off starting 8/25. It just happens to be right around when Adam will be back from OZ.
