He would not define QAL World Tour as a JOB or WORK he would say a great opportunity an amazing option i can not discuss- not Job  I do think there will be QAL WW tour soon too And it wouldn't start in Sept, because they will play huge venues and there aren't tickets for sale anywhere yet. Well no - that's why I said perhaps lost in translation was that it would be ANNOUNCED In Sept. Grrrr. Trying to figure out interpretations. Frustrating. Are the Japanese fans quoting what Adam said directly, or what was said/printed in Japanese and then translated? IF he said "job" it is almost certainly not a performance or tour. Adam consistently refers to those as "gigs." Also, to me, "job" implies something ongoing, not singular. This ups the odds that he is talking about Idol. I'm trying to be chill about it, but this is exciting. Do we have to wait til September to know what it is (which might cause a nervous breakdown for me), or will the announcement come before he returns? bani actually talked to a fan that was there. He said "job" not gig. No, we will not have to wait until Sept, for the announcement, IMO, as an Idol Loon, it will be next week or the week after. It depends on whethere they need all the parties for a PR event at the time of the announcement. If they do, then it can't be before 8/23. If they don't they can announce and then have the PR event a few weeks later. That is how they did it for Seaso 10 when JLo and Steven started. Also, someone at Mj's suggested that they might want to have the big PR event the week of 9/10 to steal away some of The Voice's press. It really would be brilliant if they do that! These are the auditions cities: LA, San Antonio, Charlotte, Newark, Chicago, NOLA, OK City ETA: In S10, when JLo and Steven started, the judges' city auditions started 9/28. But JLO was holding out on her contract, so that was pretty late. I would expect them to start, this year, earlier in Sept. |

IMO, this mentor thing is a way for fans who don't think he is big enough to get the Idol judge to rationalize. It came from no where but the fandom!  |

It is a conversation with fans, but confirmed by bani who is fluent Japanese and fluent English. A leak to fans is perfect. He wouldn't syay anything to the press because that would be too official. Adam is smart about the clues he gives. |
