Does anyone have a link to the Japanese press article referencing this comment from Adam? There is no press article. It is a conversation with fans, but confirmed by bani who is fluent Japanese and fluent English. A leak to fans is perfect. He wouldn't syay anything to the press because that would be too official. Adam is smart about the clues he gives.  THIS. ^^^^ But also there IS a press article . While we debate what the meaning of “job” is (maybe he’s going to be working at Starbucks again), here’s a quote I found:

Sound familiar? It’s from Freddie’s biography Mercury by Leslie Ann Jones and attributed to Queen’s first publicist Tony Brainsby. Very interesting book. Some of the parallels are almost eerie.

OMG!! YOU GUISE!! I had just convinced myself that Adam wasn't in the running for the AI judge position anymore.....and now....
HOLY SHIT!! What else could it be???!! Bani is very reliable, Adam knows the rumor is out there, he KNOWS that fans will link his words with that rumor, he's always very careful about how he presents things.....looks highly plausible to me!
A "job" implies ongoing employment. Not a gig or a singular opportunity. I'm goin' with IDOL!!

I'm ready to flail---I think he has the AI gig! And this would totally explain the "blackout" of his Sept/Oct schedule.
And if Pharrel is in with him on the panel, then I could see the single being Trespassing.
eta---if Adam is leaking a hint then the official annoucement has to be coming very soon
