Good point, Q3! The twitterland is enormous and opinions are expressed on everything, both positive and negative. I only glanced through Adam Lambert mentions and only for a couple of hours trying to skip the apparent glamberts (by their avatar). Apart from the always prevalent "listening to Adam's..." etc. there were tweets on Q+AL and the ceremony who seemed not to be (hard core) fans that I checked more closely. Of course not everyone who likes AL do actually write it in their description. But they were tweeting about Adam and I think that was positive. I guess your search method requires that the tweet is tagged with closingceremony and adamlambert. Not everyone does that but it surely is better way than mine. I tried with that method searching with ceremony and queen. The tweets I found that way were delighted to have Queen performing and most of them liked also Jessie J. So it seems that my cursory glance only 'proves' that Adam was not very often mentioned in a negative way in connection with the closing ceremony. I posted my perceptions and I hope that it didn't come across as a result of any scientific method. I assume we all post our own views - if not, then it would be mentioned in the post (link to source or the like). When I was reading through the comments of an article in US Huffington Post, they seemed more negative. Lots of "who is Jessie J", "she was awful", etc. I don't think these were mostly Glamberts because there was only one mention of Adam. The number of comments has almost doubled since I looked last night, so not sure what the climate is now. www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/12/queen-jessie-j-closing-ceremony-music-olympics_n_1770672.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000003ETA: Just read more of the comments. Lots of "this was the worst pairing ever. Any British rocker would have been better."

Just a small sampling of course but still gives an indication of the overall reception.

YES, yes, yes, and yes! His extremely fair skin and freckles work best with red. The dark hair was fine, nothing special, a little too generic. When he tipped it with different colors it worked better. Love this new color on him. It may not be a natural looking color, but it really suits him. But I will always wish for Adam to embrace the way he was born and be a beautiful redhead again. I think it softens him and IMO, definitely makes him younger!

There is a nice tv ad playing in Maine regarding marriage equality (top on the page) and a couple other nice videos. Proponents have gotten an equality measure put on the ballot again for this fall. It was close last time when a law for equal marriage got overturned by popular vote. www.whymarriagemattersmaine.com/families/

Lots of kudos for Annie Lenox though.

"lurking" and "shipping" and someone being delusional. Does anyone know what that was about?
