Someone mentioned about the backup singers not being there. Just to point out, that the band is acutally props on this one. Adam is singing to a track here, and the band is acting to play along. Notice no microphones on the drums, no cables coming out of the keyboard, and if you notice on Tommys Marshall Amplifier head, if it where turned on the two switches on the bottom left would glow orange. This is common on TV shows, so no big deal, but thought I would point it out. Peace Good observation! I would have never noticed this.

I think playing the videos on radio stations is always a good idea. They do look at these stats.
But, mostly, I think we have to hope for something to propel the new single up the chart on iTunes. For starters, they just aren't going to play a song that can't crack the top 100 and establish itself there over a period of time. I don't know exactly what it would take to do this, but I am convinced that this is key.

I have been wondering about buying the new single for those who have the album already and hence can't buy the single. I bought my album on Amazon, so I guess I can buy the new single on itunes and they would let me because they wouldn't know about the Amazon sale. Itune album buyers could switch to Amazon. I agree that showing well on itunes is important. Is there a way to gift over and over again?

No way the fanbase alone buying and gifting the single is going to do it. It's going to take something a lot bigger. This is when RCA/DMG needs to think outside the box and maybe spend some money. Again, I don't know if it's even possible. They need to get the song in a commercial or a TV show or a movie soundtrack. Or maybe they get Adam a big promo opportunity and see if the song, because it will be something different and unique (and, if it's Trespassing, it's an anthem) can somehow connect.
