FWIW, I think Steve Strange was making a joke about Adam's new hair color. You know, like Billy Idol saying he can't confirm the rumor that Adam Lambert will be playing him in his biographical film? Also, the GIF is, imo, another joke...about Adam reading a book in Japanese, which is read from back to front and left to right? Both are humor. Or maybe filming the movie is what Adam's *stuff* planned next month is  More speculation for everyone!! ;D |

I think this guy is using Adam's name to get some promo. I doubt Adam would be interested in this project!!!  I don't see why he wouldn't be. Read the wiki page about this guy, sounds like it could be a fascinating exploration for Adam. It sure does look like the hair fits. He was out of site a couple of days before the vacay so enough time to do the hair and a screen test. Has anyone heard anything about when AI is gonna announce the new judges??? I read a couple of weeks ago that AI planned to finalized their judging panel in 2 weeks, which should be last week. But then someone said that they wouldn't make any announcement during the Olympic week. Therefore I am expecting they do it this week , but haven't heard anything yet. Do they need all the judges to be present when they make the announcement, or they can announce now and hold a press conference later with all the judges present?? From what Nick Jonas said, it sounds like Idol has not yet made their decision. I bet there are disagreements on the board. I do not think this bodes well for Adam as he was one of the first names mentioned, and they would have known if they wanted him by now. Still crossing fingers however.
They may already know they want him, but they just don't want to make the announcement yet. They still want to play with the press and the fans by throwing all kinds of names out there. |

It's not even really likely that it as at casting stage BUT if someone involved with the movie saw Adam's new do it would not be at all surprising if they realized that he could surely pull of the look in addition to the voice. Maybe they reached out to Adam or just told Strange that they planned to consider him. So while I doubt this has anything to do with Adam being busy in September I don't think its totally outlandish to think it could be a possibility down the road. |

So is Strange big enough for an autobiographical movie to be made about him, or would this be like a vanity book? Is he known at all in the US?
I don't see how this project would benefit Adam's career at all. Perhaps just something that interests him as a small side project.
Or maybe it IS just a joke.

I agree that the Steve Strange movie could be very interesting for Adam. From his Wiki page he sounds like he had an interesting career at an interesting time. It is also a time musically that Adam has been inspired by. This guy was into the glam rock scene it seems, and we all know that Adam is fascinated by this genre. I already have him up for an Oscar in my head. Kidding aside, this could generate some of the exposure Adam needs. I would not be surprised if this was a big part of his September surprise. Yes, I would much rather have Idol but will be happy with a movie because they can also bring a mass audience.
