Aww, too bad. I sure went for it!

All three major US chains have Trespassing on their active merchandise list -- that means that they are restocking.

Trespassing sold apx. 2,000 CD's last week in US retail. It will be restocked.

The three major US chains are Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. The exceptions are Walmarts and Targets that do not have music department -- a small percentage.

It is also being restocked in B&N.

ETA: Most ATop members do a great job of maintaining perspective on Adam and the music business. This message is just intended to be a reminded to us (including me) that being an Adam fan is best when it is joyous and fun. And that, after all, many things we all worry about (sales, radio airplay, Idol, why did the chat get cancelled, etc.) are not life and death issues. And the world is filled with much bigger problems. When I get down I remember this quote from Bridge Jones, "At times like this, continuing with one's life seems impossible... and eating the entire contents of one's fridge seems inevitable. I have two choices: to give up and accept permanent state of spinsterhood and eventual eating by alsatians, or not. And this time I choose not. I will not be defeated by a bad man and an American stick insect! Instead, I choose vodka. And Chaka Khan." When I am confronted with doubts, I choose vodka and Chaka Kahn right now. Cheers!

Just a suggestion, save the angsting for real problems -- like the 7 US soldiers and 4 Afghans who died in the helicopter crash in Afghanistan yesterday.

Adam will make millions this year, he has a major label contract with a label who supports him and trusts him -- Exec Prod credit is not just a throw away title. He has a great family and Sauli. He is knocking them dead in Japan and even got Japanese Freddie to go to his concert. (I think this is a first for JF.) He has a tour in planning. A new single getting released. A brilliant licensing deal and some songs he wrote worth licensing. ETC ETC ETC ETC

I do not think Adam really wants fans to worry -- he is here to entertain us and put out an album filled with dance music.

So my suggestion is put on some hot music -- turn it up loud -- and dance. And if you playlist is all a single artist (no names but I've been there), add in something else. There is so much great music out there -- and some of it is by my favorite singer, Adam Lambert.

One last thing -- if my post did not inspire you to celebrate the good and to save your concern for what really matters, imagined you lived in Ohio and got 7 or 10 Romney v. Obama commercials an hour on TV and phone calls and robopolls and mailings and.......it is a nightmare here!!

Hmmm, interesting. This is the first Nick Jonas thing that actually worries me.

ETA: False alarm! Not worried! I guess he was actually "let go" and this article is just spin to save face!

6 days ago the story was he was dropped. This busy schedule is spin.



That said, it probably makes Nick more interested in doing anything to get the Idol gig.

Setting that aside -- they are still working on the JBs reunion. And I hear that promoters are not interested.

IF the judges were Mariah, Pharrell and Nick -- they would have announced it and they would not have been talking to Alanis Morrissette last week.

I think Adam is a long-shot to get an Idol judge seat.

BUT Nick is a missed shot. I really think that FOX execs are smart enough not to pick him but Kara D. was a judge. So anything is possible.
