No real significance, but since it is slow now...In a recent interview (think it was The End one) when the interviewer asked Adam if he would be wearing a costume on PLL he said he didn't know...then proceeded to look right into the camera and add something like 'maybe I'm a pretty little liar'. This was a couple days before he did the show and he probably knew but wasn't allowed to discuss particulars of the episode. This doesn't really relate to Idol but just saying he sometimes has to withhold information as others have said earlier. And his comment was a cute way of confirming that.

Hmmm, interesting. This is the first Nick Jonas thing that actually worries me. :-/ Yeah, and I'm not getting the cross-pollination between E!, NBC, and Fox. I didn't get how Ryan Seacrest became a correspondent/interviewer at the NBC Olympics when he is so closely associated with Fox, and how "Home" all the sudden gets major exposure on a competing network because Al Michael's daughter is involved in American Idol. And didn't someone post that there is a new show on E! that Ryan Seacrest is producing with Kevin Jonas, with Nick making occasional appearances? (I really have not been following closely to know if my facts are straight, but all these things do give one pause if they are true.) I dunno. That and the Demi Lovato as representing the "youth contingent" on X-Factor, the criticism of Idol not being youth-oriented enough, and the resurgence of boy bands, like One Direction. I really think we need to view this as a big possibility. There really isn't much cross-pollination between NBC and FOX. Ryan's only relationship with Fox is as host of American Idol, a post he has held since Season 1. He is not involved with the production side of Idol or any other Fox show. Ryan formed his own production company in 2006, and many of his shows have been broadcast on E!, which is one of the networks owned by NBC Universal (which is now owned by Comcast). I don't know the details of how Ryan got the Olympics job, but he has had a long-term relationship with NBC Universal through E!, so it probably makes sense for NBC to use Ryan if they needed an additional correspondent. For more info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_SeacrestRyan is a very busy guy! He really is one of the hardest-working men in show business.

Did everyone have a great day? YES! Although I had a very humbling experience. My daughter has just started piano lessons and is learning, in bits and pieces, how to read music. I don't understand enough to help her with questions. This is the first time she knows more about a subject than I do - even though for years she been saying, "you're wrong Mom!". On another note (ha! get the pun?) - all of these scheduling questions within the next 7-10 days. My head is starting to hurt.

I have such a love-hate relationship with the show that it's hard to put my emotions aside and just enjoy the show as I used to (say, Seasons 1 to 7 : . I think I'm always seeking out conspiracy theories.
