Thanks, iridium, that makes a lot of sense that Ryan is under the NBC umbrella with his E! affiliations. I hadn't connected all those dots, but it does work. I just can't wrap my brain around the N. Jonas is going to bring the kiddies thing. I just don't see it. Even Miley is a tad past her prime for that. Selena is the only person I could think of who would be ideal (and she was great hosting the EMAs), but I still cringe at the idea of a 19-year-old judging people for the entertainment industry. Could you imagine in Adam's season him being judged by a Disney kid with five years under his or her belt? The reason Demi is not completely a disastrous idea is that she is being flanked by two very, very, very seasoned industry veterans. And ITA koshka, even in my prime I always respected her vocal talent, but I've never had any connection to Mariah as a person despite seeing many interviews with her throughout the '90s. I cannot see her being a huge draw. Now, if she was on a panel with other articulate, knowledgeable artists, I think they could work off each other and make great TV and provide concrete critique for those kids. It IS interesting they haven't even announced who is going to be hosting XFactor yet. ??? XFactor Host: I read Khloe Kardashian is the top pick right now. Bruce Jenner confirmed last week she was in talks. Kelly Osborne is the other name I have seen bantered around. I would like to see Cat Deeley. |

He is knocking them dead in Japan and even got Japanese Freddie to go to his concert. (I think this is a first for JF.) He has a tour in planning. A new single getting released. A brilliant licensing deal and some songs he wrote worth licensing. ETC ETC ETC ETC I do not think Adam really wants fans to worry -- he is here to entertain us and put out an album filled with dance music. So my suggestion is put on some hot music -- turn it up loud -- and dance. And if you playlist is all a single artist (no names but I've been there), add in something else. There is so much great music out there -- and some of it is by my favorite singer, Adam Lambert. >> OFF THE SOAP BOX <<  Talking about put on some hot music and turn it up loud..  That's what I do everyday on the way home.. Anyway, I was listening to QAL on the way home .. loud.. really loud.. when it reached the end of the CD, it switched to the next line up.. which is.. FYE.. and guess what?? Listening to Music Again was so refreshing... how much I love FYE CD, as much as I love Trespassing. |
