Forgive me if I hold out for a source other than the Hollywood Gossip. Seems like Demi's been very candid in live interviews and I don't remember drugs/alcohol being mentioned as her issue before. Could be, of course, I don't follow her closely but have heard morning radio show interviews and don't remember ever hearing this. I like Demi and Selena a lot. I thingk they're adorable, poised and talented. I've also have been impressed by 1D's music and charm. There are talented kids out there. Do I believe they're be-all and in a place to dispense advice? No. (Other than in reference to their very real issues, like Demi.) interesting on the demo, so it seems like young adults and parents mostly. Hmmm. |

Demi is a really impressive young woman. I was lucky and got to meet her, She is very bright and IMO is a great role model for anyone. She had enormous challenges in her life and rose above them. I think she could be a great judge. Odd that her judge-mate, Britney, had similar challenges but did not deal with them as effectively. I do not know Adam but, based on what he has said, I think it is a very good thing that he was in his late 20's when he became famous. It helped him avoid some of the pitfalls of fame. I don't know much about Demi. I first heard her song Give yr heart a break a while a go on the radio, I think around end of last year or early this year, and I was impressed with her voice. At that time I thought the song could be very popular. But to my surprised, I rarely heard it later on the radio, I thought good songs could never pick up. Recently I feel like I hear it more often. I watched the Teen Choice awards and I thought she did a good job. On the contrary, I saw Britney on XFactor ad last night. I wasn't impressed at all. She looked old, not as glowy and pretty as those female judges we often see on TV. I am not sure if I wasn't in a good mood or something, but look at JLo on AI. I don't watch AI often , but whenever I could tune in, JLo always had perfect makeup, perfect hair. These were not what I saw in Britney last night. Britney's talking voice was not impressive either. I am not sold if they use Britney as the appeal of the show. |
