Okay.. MOVING ON FROM IDOL CRAP.... lol.. So now WHY Adam was so happy the week he got back from Queen's concert?? Maybe because RCA gives him another single?? and MAYBE there's another thing better in the works now.  And I just think the glass was miss designed with wasted other half of it  |

They put that line-up together and the contestants don't even have to show up anymore. Nobody will care about them, not the judges, nor the people at home. They can mix Pepsi into their Coke and jump the shark with that show.Shirley Halperlin is normally cred worthy. So, I guess, Adam can spend some extra time down under. 'Jump the shark' was not an expression I had ever heard prior to being in the States. Add me to the people who are utterly astonished at the language skills of some of our overseas members. Anyhow....I had pretty high hopes, but that article, even though something seems off about that team (multiple divas?), is the first one that makes me think I need to write this hope off for Adam. If idol's pockets are this deep and they only go for celebrity and not whether the person can contribute, then Adam has no chance against this banquet of big names. His chance would be, if they recognize his effectiveness as a communicator. His eloquence and competence and ability to be direct and concrete without being hurtful. If they don't see that and rather want the nonsense gobble from somebody famous, then they are making their bed. Actually, Keith probably is fine, but the other 3 are not impressing me as a competent team. Whatever.....hope that article is wrong, but moving along without idol dream for now. ETA: @mys*&@^#r I thought that this would be a DEALBREAKER too, but I read that JLo was also with Pepsi and clearly she made it onto idol. Otherwise I would have agreed with you. Ever saw a hotel having to exchange their vending machine in the whole freaking hotel just to hold a sales conference for the other company? TRUTH |

I moved on after the AU interview... add the "job" - "stuff" tweets = he got me convinced...
at this point it is more entertaining than anything else...

Count me as one of the ones who hope Adam has nothing to do with the show except a guest appearance. I rarely watched Idol - only if there was nothing else on. For the most part I always thought the talent on Idol was crap - except for a handful. I hope Adam tours and does some TV appearances and radio promo and some int'l promo and some more with Queen. Say NO to Idol except maybe a guest appearance at most.

I agree with you. AI doesn't deserve Adam. This show is no longer about new talent. It's about ratings. Period.
As this Idol stuff has progressed, I've been more and more uneasy that this is just a bad idea for Adam. The ship is going down and I don't want him on it. It's time to move on, IMO. |
