I posted the Husbands video chat because of the fun Adam mention, and not because I saw a role on the series as an alternative to or substitute for Idol (my positive feelings about Adam's Idol prospects haven't changed), though I would love for him to appear on Husbands someday. And Husbands has many amazing guest stars lined up this season, so Adam would be in great company if he decided to add a future guest spot to his multi-tasking plate. But if you watch the clip, you'll see that Brad is being playful in response to a hypothetical question posed by a fan. Just thought the video would be an entertaining diversion. Jane Espenson and Brad are charming together!

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, and I really think Brad is funny and darling, but I would be sad if instead of Idol on network TV with an audience of 20M, we get a role in a very obscure web show. I don't know Brad or his obscure web show, but surely this is not the "stuff" he was excited and talking about for Sept. :-/ y It sounded more like big stuff. 8-) wish it would be Idol stuff. ;D Just to clarify that I am not completely gullible, I had my tongue in my cheek when I wrote that wet blanket comment. |

Not invested in the Idol talk at all....it's a win/win for me either way. If he gets it, GOOD, I can see him on TV twice a week. If he doesn't get it, GOOD, I don't have to waste my time watching that damn show.
