Every time there is one of those, I bite my tongue with difficulty. Adam has said too many things over the last few years how much he values his band, dancers, etc. Anyway, he didn't leave his feelings open to interpretation this time, he just said it!!! Yay! Being a member of a band is a legal business relationship -- the members co-own the band. The musicians on the stage with Adam work for Adam. That makes him a performer with his own backing band. There is a wide spectrum for singers -- being in the chorus, being a featured singer, being a member of the band, being the frontman who is a member of a band, being a performer who has a backing band, being a solo performer who has an accompanist to being one "guy" on the stage. Adam most often is a performer with a backing band -- his backing band -- like Pink and Rhianna. But he has done everything on that list. |

For me he's a solo artist. And imo for himself too. Valueing his backing musicians doesn't equal being a band. That discussion will never die as long as people don't understand how to separate that.  |

What a fantastic performer! The band is looking and sounding mighty fine also. I have been very iffy on the hair, but on stage it looks like he just step off Mount Olympus and is made of light, super human and beyond beautiful. PERFECT!!! |

I've just looked at Nicki Minaj tour dates and found that all her Sept (only 1) and early Oct dates (nine) have been postponed, to be rescheduled on later dates. The postpone was made around Aug 3, "due to international schedule conflicts". SO I guess it's true that she will be joining the AI judge panel The only thing I am concerned about is Adam was in talks with AI and he expected to get it, now he doesn't, he feels disappointed and sad about it like many of us. The worst thing is he had hope to use it as a launch pad for the next single, now he has to change all the plans. If I were in that situation, I would breakdown. No No say that AI's never approached him |

He will always be the one who has all the interviews and extras. So it makes sense that he would need to arrive early and leave later than the rest. He will always be more like Madonna than Queen. But, working with Queen probably effected the way he looks at and works with the band. Wonder what that is like, balancing the band relationships. I just watched the interview and he was referring to interacting on stage more with the band. Which is funny because he interacted with the band a lot during Glam Nation tour. My feeling is that he is just really enjoying not having a set theatrical performance. During Glam Nation the most time he had to improvise was during the Encores (and boy did he ever!) ;D Now, with no backing track and not a set "script" he can be more organic in his approach! I personally love it! And this is only the beginning, guys! There is more to come!  Yes!! |
