Regarding the show that is no longer on my DVR recording list: Once upon a time, oh, say about 3.5 years ago, there was a certain musical theater dude, slash club kid, slash classically trained vocalist, slash aspiring pop star who, out of boredom/desperation decided to go for a very long shot and audition for the biggest show on American TV. The result was some of the best television of the season, or of all seasons. For those of us who enjoy nostalgic revisits to such a time of discovery of an amazing artist, and for those who missed it the first time around, I have a link that still works! Go to: www.tudou.com/programs/view/kaL3vsmkBzM/for a complete compilation of Adam Lambert's performances there. So far, from what I have viewed, they are complete and high quality. Runs 110 minutes. So good! ETA: I just got a little paranoid that by publishing the link here someone from the a fore mentioned television show might lurk on ATop, read about the link, and somehow manage to get it taken down. Should I delete it, and just send it out in PMs? THANK YOU !

Off the Idol topic for a moment - I need help. I lost all of my You Tube playlists when I created a new gmail account! I'm trying to rebuild and I'm looking for a particularly beautiful acoustic performance of NCOE & BTIKM that was from one of the radio station gigs on the East coast. Does anyone know which ones I'm referring to? I can't remember!

I think it is because the file is so huge --- over 1.5 hours long. I found that if I paused it for a bit and let it buffer (I think that is what it is doing) it played smoothly. It would be great if some super ninja could make a downloadable file of this so I could preserve it on my computer for posterity.

It is not possible the the Coke-Pepsi conflict was know not IDed long before they talked to NM's people. ETA: Typo fixed. Would you mind clarifying that statement, please. Do you mean that screw-up could have happened or could not have happened? Somehow an unintended knot or not or know got into that sentence. Is it possible that they assumed they could just follow into the JLo footsteps and now Coke is barking at this (rightfully so, btw). Also, do you or anyone know what happened in the JLo case? Did she have to give up her Pepsi sponsorship to do idol and was there a buyout of her contract? Was the sponsorship conflict made public prior to announcing her announcement as a judge, like it was now? Thanks The Pepsi-Nicki deal is very well known -- it even made Forbes Magazine. And the business issue would have been IDed long before they started to work with lawyers on contract terms. Just how this process works. And the final contract may well be done well after the announcement. The NM-Pepsi relationship is the similar to the deal they made with Michael Jackson in the 80's. Not comparable to JoLo's deal. But they can work this out with enough money and/or concessions -- FOX is right in the middle of the Coke vs. Pepsi battle --- X-Factor is Pepsi, Idol is Coke, both are FOX. > Pepsi doubled their worldwide ad budget this year to $1.7 billion. Coke spends about a $3 billion. FOX needs to keep both happy.

I really hope someone who can download from a site like this can make a downloadable version as well. I am getting nowhere with it but would love it because the quality is so good.
Scares me when things start to disappear!!

Maybe you can use this software: How to Download Videos from Tudou www.video-download-capture.com/how-to-download-videos-from-tudou.htmlETA: Thanks for the site, I love to walk the memory line again. I remember how the first time I saw Adam sang Satisfaction, I was like.. OMG... there has never been any contestant that's so relax on stage. Like Paula said it felt like we're watching the Adam Lamber concert. He's singing and dancing at the same time and he's moving around the stage like it's his playground. That's what captured America, because they don't feel like watching a competition show, they just watched him performing his way. ;D
