At the very end of this interview, ( done before the album was even released) , Adam talks about potential singles on the album. These are the songs he mentioned, respectively: NL, TP, Cuckoo, NCOE... I wondered for a sec if it was all just random, or showing his subconscious desires, lol... In any case it is interesting to know. Aleksandra.. those are the songs that the label sent to radio PDs to survey for 2nd single and they chose NCOE because it's a Bruno song. And then they don't play it. :( Oh, I forgot about that:) LIGHT SIDE ME: I prefer to think they did play it, but the song failed to grab the attention... that way the third single stands the chance. If I thought they hadn't played the song they'd picked themselves, what chance of getting radio play another song has then... DARK SIDE ME: Those radio dudes have something against my baby.... :twist: |

I fell for the story that PDs picked NCOE hook, line and sinker, and thought they were gung ho for it as a single. I was completely surprised when it got so little play. It makes me a little nervous for new single which they apparently did not like as much.
For me personally, when I first listen to Shady I thought it was a huge hit waiting to happen, and am surprised it is seldom mentioned as a single. They might have to clean it up a tad, but it is not nearly so overtly sexual as NL which gets a lot of single mention IMO.

I can't speak for other markets but in the US and Canada, PDs generally like Adam. So that is not an issue.
