I can't speak for other markets but in the US and Canada, PDs generally like Adam. So that is not an issue. I am glad they like him, and not surprised because he is so gracious and talented. |

I fell for the story that PDs picked NCOE hook, line and sinker, and thought they were gung ho for it as a single. I was completely surprised when it got so little play. It makes me a little nervous for new single which they apparently did not like as much. For me personally, when I first listen to Shady I thought it was a huge hit waiting to happen, and am surprised it is seldom mentioned as a single. They might have to clean it up a tad, but it is not nearly so overtly sexual as NL which gets a lot of single mention IMO. Lol, Why am I always 180 degrees away from the general opinion?  I don't see naked love as an overtly sexual song at all... The tone and mood is just pure bubble-gum happy happy happy innocence to me. In fact, I always think it sounds like something a cute boy band should be singing. I adore it, because I know Adam really is just a big old cupcake. But I don't want NL as a radio single because it doesn't fit the sound and image I think the public expects of Adam. It's... Cute. Tongue in cheek maybe, but that's the extent of it's naughtiness. IMO But yeah, I think shady would be a KILLER single. |
