I was JUST thinking that about BTIKM. It took me a while to stop skipping it cause I was so obsessed with the new songs but I really think it fits on the album, sounds so much like Adam and I totally understand why they picked it for a single. It is easy to have 20/20 hindsight and for us all to blame RCA for stuff but, gosh darn it, all these songs should have gotten attention.

I don't see naked love as an overtly sexual song at all... The tone and mood is just pure bubble-gum happy happy happy innocence to me. In fact, I always think it sounds like something a cute boy band should be singing. For sure! It's one of my favourite songs, makes me SO happy every time ;D

I fell for the story that PDs picked NCOE hook, line and sinker, and thought they were gung ho for it as a single. I was completely surprised when it got so little play. It makes me a little nervous for new single which they apparently did not like as much. For me personally, when I first listen to Shady I thought it was a huge hit waiting to happen, and am surprised it is seldom mentioned as a single. They might have to clean it up a tad, but it is not nearly so overtly sexual as NL which gets a lot of single mention IMO. Lol, Why am I always 180 degrees away from the general opinion? I don't see naked love as an overtly sexual song at all... The tone and mood is just pure bubble-gum happy happy happy innocence to me. In fact, I always think it sounds like something a cute boy band should be singing. I adore it, because I know Adam really is just a big old cupcake. But I don't want NL as a radio single because it doesn't fit the sound and image I think the public expects of Adam. It's... Cute. Tongue in cheek maybe, but that's the extent of it's naughtiness. IMO But yeah, I think shady would be a KILLER single. Its about being in love, taking of your clothes and being naked together. I think that is very sexual. I admit it is fun and light hearted. I love it live more than the album version because of the ever so charming 100% bridge he adds.

It is not like most of the songs that get tons of radio play are magnum opuses. I maintain that both are every bit as good if not better than most of the competition, and they are better sung.

It's about stripping away the B.S., i.e,., the emotional barriers.

Yes, I know that is what he says, but a radio listener will have no way of knowing that I will undoubtedly think of the sexual interpretation.

"Take it off, try me on" is pretty damn sexy in my book!! I don't think it will ever be a single.
