Mariah is there because of Randy, and because she is an old-school diva. I think Nicki being in hurts Adam's chances (hope I'm wrong) because she will provide the "edgy." Moving on, since I no longer think Adam has a judge spot, what do people know about the Today Show? I think they have a Fall concert series because I heard that Carrie will be playing, but I can't find a schedule anywhere. Does anyone know if there are still openings? Man, I wish Adam got Carrie-like bookings - she's EVERYWHERE! she's everywhere because radio plays her songs and her songs charted |

Adam does fit better with NM. Someone please explain why Mariah is there? Mariah is there, IMHO,because she has big boobs and because Randy gets a cut as her manager There are literally hundreds of artists who have big boobs. I find it rather degrading to women as a whole to sum up their career by referring to the size of their body parts. Mariah is on the judging panel because she is a well respected vocalist and performer and she has the numbers to back up her superstar status. She has sold :o200 million albums worldwide. Those sales aren't because she has big boobs! j/s  |

A provocative song and video is fine for a straight girl to break through, not for a gay guy, unfortunately, IMO.
How will we every know if it hasn't been tried (well at least in this decade)?
The other route does not seem to be working that well.

I think that if Adam were to be on Idol with NM people would come to see Adam as the sane caring man that we know him to be because he would bring his own class and honesty to the table. He would be the one keeping his head while all around are losing theirs.

I get that US radio wouldn't have played it, but I think it could've been a huge hit in the rest of the world, given a chance. On the other hand... I feel Trspassing is provocative enough for now, and Shady can wait till he's more established, maybe. |
