Hopefully the next Adam single will fit US Pop Radio. Listening the 10 tracks left on the CD (it will not be a bonus track), and forgetting what I like because my taste does not matter, here's my ranking of Pop-ability -- the % is my odds on each track being the next single -- JMHO: 45% Cuckoo (pure pop, solid hook, simple, right beat, production would fit pop radio, not retro, would fit with Pop and HAC radio) 25% Trespassing (much better live then recorded IMHO, seems like Adam's pick, what radio format? I gave it 25% because IF they have a way to promo this song without radio, I think it could be a hit. Just can't see it fitting with current Pop radio or HAC.) 20% Naked Love (extra points because Adam did not write it and RCA has picked all non-Adam songs for his singles, fits radio but generic on the studio version, better live then recorded, would fit with Pop and HAC radio -- but there are many songs like it.) 5% Kickin' In, Pop the Lock (like a lot of this album -- so much better live! 3% Shady, Chokehold (great album tracks that have no radio home. What station would really support either of these two songs?) 1% Outlaws of Love, Broken English (my fav track on the album is BE and it would have been a megahit in 1988.) <1% odds: Underneath I am little leery to even mention this because I will sound like a complete stiff, but I have a little problem with Cuckoo because it is so frivolous about metal illness. Also "don't give a fuck" is unacceptable for the radio I would bet. Of course the f-word can be changed.
It's not about mental illness. It's about being different, wild, fun-loving, and nonconformist. Some people may use the word "cuckoo" to mean mentally unbalanced but the song is not applying the term in that way. It has nothing to do with people who are suffering from mental illness. |

Chapter 5: Wendy's staffs fascination with Trespassing
Today I needed my cherry coke! (don't judge) I always have TP blasting and today I got a request. The young lady says " I really like your musc! I don't know the name of the song but sounds like this" then starts to beat out Shady, so I played it for her and had 5 people at the window dancing!
So I think Shady (my fav, which is why they had heard it enough to know it) will be the next single. J/s put it out to the universe.

I think that if Adam were to be on Idol with NM people would come to see Adam as the sane caring man that we know him to be because he would bring his own class and honesty to the table. He would be the one keeping his head while all around are losing theirs.  |

Not to change the subject (oh who am I kidding, l totally want to change the subject!) why isn't there more talk about the justify my pants pic??? did I miss it? That picture is stunning. Amazing. Really intimate. Not to mention clever, with the Madonna reference. It is absolutely my new favorite, from the hoody covering his hair to the mile long shiny legs down to the bare toes. I love the composition. It's perfect! I haven't talked or squeeed about it because it doesn't look like Adam to me. Hard for me to get excited about something that doesn't even look like him. :-/ |

I think it would make great album/single art. pop that lock maybe? ;D Adam and Sauli have become quite good photographers! I agreee that everything about the composition of this photo is perfect! |
