Not to change the subject (oh who am I kidding, l totally want to change the subject!) why isn't there more talk about the justify my pants pic??? did I miss it? That picture is stunning. Amazing. Really intimate. Not to mention clever, with the Madonna reference. It is absolutely my new favorite, from the hoody covering his hair to the mile long shiny legs down to the bare toes. I love the composition. It's perfect! I totally agree. I'm embedding it for a closer second look:  Do you think it was shot after the concert when they came back to their hotel room? It seems very intimate to me....LUV IT! Isn't it winter in Aus now?? |

It appears in the totally buzzless topic of who will judge Idol, they have not decided. News buzz for this story is amazingly low. NM rumor got far fewer PR mentions than Adam. (And my interest in Idol is totally ADAM-Centric) No knock to NM, but Idol just needs to figure this out. BORING!! **** Setting that aside -- look at the remaining 3 possible single tracks -- Trespassing, Cuckoo and NL -- performed by Adam, all are gay themed. Finally, RCA will be forced to release a "gay" song maybe even co-written by a gay artist! ETA: Jablea ITA -- Mariah, Nickie, Adam and some white country dude and I am watching Idol again. Uhh. Q3- NL is the last song on the album that's not written by Adam. Anyway, I posted yesterday that getting his own song released as the next single probably what makes Adam really really happy these days. And I still think that Trespassing will be the next single, since he performed it on 2 different TV shows in Tokyo. Trespassing or Cuckoo doesn't matter to me, both are fun songs and Adam's songs. |

I'm going with Trespassing as the next single based on the following: 1. I love it 2. He sang it at New Now Next before NCOE was announced (single confusion?) 3. It is one of the three songs on iHeart selections (WWFM, NCOE and TP) www.iheartradio.com/iplaylist/artist/1152615/4. It's what he sang in Japan 5. I love it! (oh, did I say that before  ?) |

Perhaps it is a bit personal to you. I tend to the "way to analytically side" but, anyway I look at it, Cuckoo is far more than a meaningless party song. If we heavily analyze lyrics, everything is objectionable -- look at Firework: Do you ever feel like a plastic bag

Pop lyrics are supposed to be catchy, memorable and filled with double, triple meanings so they can be replayed endlessly, ETA: Spelling double meanings are totally lost on me. Strait verses Straight. Who knew? Straitjacket vs. straight jacket. Well I certainly learned something tonight. Setting that aside -- if you have viewed Cuckoo as a harmless pop track (which it is disguised as), check out the lyrics.... Feels like I’m having a meltdown

Gonna party til they take us awayI am quite puzzled as to how can the lyrics of Cuckoo be related to mental illness?!?!?! It is so clearly about having FUN and loosing yourself in that! I feel NO RELATION OR EVEN A HINT OF MENTAL ILLNESS THERE I was right to be leery about mentioning my slight, and I mean slight, discomfort about the lyrics of Cuckoo. But it cannot be denied that the song is full of mental health terms: maniac, cuckoo, lose my mind, strait jacket, electric shock, crazy, danger to myself. I don't understand why it would surprise people that someone might find it slightly offensive in this regard. There are other ways to describe having fun in a wild manner, that do not include these kinds of mental health terms. Again, I do like the song and will be more than fine with it as a single. |

If NM gets added to the judging I'm still thinking Adam is their guy or at least one of them. Next to the two Diva's he'll be so normal, lol. And since NM would seem to put Randy out for sure then Adam would be the connection to the past. Need to have someone who knows if a song has been sung 100 times before on the show. I'm fine with Adam not being the lightning rod especially as my hope is for him to be able to show the world his not so OTTness. He'd love being on with the two of them and he wouldn't do the oneupmanship that Adam Levine pulls over Christina on the Voice. Yup! Everything ^^she said^^ I think Minaj getting this, if she does, make Adam's chances ten times better. Actually, I think Adam is already signed and signed around the time of the PopCrush rumors that Shosh squashed. That would be the same week Minaj signed, if we go by her Tweets of August 1st! I think the hold up has been their 4th person and I am thinking it will be a country guy. I was hoping ffor Pharrell, but if Idol goes with 3 people of color on their panel, I will be shocked. With Mariah and Nicki, they need someone to make middle America and their huge southern audience happy. Hence, a country guy! 100% agree that Adam is their link to the past!
