Crazyforadam, Love your description of Adam's music. I think all his music whether it is a ballad like Broken Open or OOL, or a dance track, is intense in a compelling way.

Vivlite, thank you so much for sharing that video! It filled my heart with joy. Really brings home the message of Adam's newest tattoo, doesn't it?

Craazyforadam, I love your analysis of NCOE. Bruno Mars writes very simple songs, almost like the urban male equivalent of Taylor Swift. No wonder the teen girls love their BM.
NCOE to me always sounded like a ballad that was speeded up to make it a dance song, with the lyrics always struggling to catch up with the beat. I do think that Adam has perfected it now, and I do love it live. Maybe it's that there's less Dr. Luke in the arrangement now, and more Brian London funk.

Sony Music NZ @sonymusicnz Any other NZ Glamberts getting a kick out of watching @adamlambert 's interviews from Japan? e.g: youtu.be/Z-Z2CuC1hjQSony Music NZ @sonymusicnz We like this one where @adamlambert judges this Japanese 'Loudest Fan' competition: youtu.be/ErWPiK2HD68WTF? A judging tweet!>!>!>!>!? ETA: vivlite -- sorry bb -- but honestly it is better to just jump on the crazy train and believe it will all be good, And it really does always work out for Adam. <3 I do feel all will work out for Adam. I am a great believer in this. My sadness was that my cup had runneth out for all the speculation. I reached past my saturation point. I try personally not to live too far in the future. Projection to me becomes pointless when I cease having fun. And I am a work in progress, so not trying to come off as anyone but a tired fan. No worries about me not being on the crazy train..lol..I've been on it ever since Adam stepped on the AI stage. ;D Appreciate the kind thoughts, Q3! ETA: You are so right, Murly..his newest tattoo in spades! Flew right by me..Cuckoo..

Have to confess, I left the thread earlier today feeling a great sadness. What is the next single? Who are the Idol judges? Some days I could scream. So I leave. Not dissing anyone in particular..it's a mood I'm going through. Tonite I logged on and a dear Atoper friend sent me this. If it doesn't put your heart in a happy place, I don't know what will. Do enjoy! Turned me right around, it did. Sweet dreams.. This put a BIG smile on my face ;D Thanks Vivlite!!!!

OMG!!!! 1)I got Mika to post in THIS thread!!!! 2)I got Mika to research my posting history!!! I am honored! Mika - I seriously love you...for a very long time now...started before April 11th... I also want to take this opportunity to remind you that you owe me some Mayakovsky talk re similarities between his style and TP ... from long ago too... I seriously love you and that you have a sense of humor and an appreciation for fine noses and mad, wonderful poets! "Our planet is poorly equipped for delight. One must snatch gladness from the days that are. In this life it's not difficult to die. To make life is more difficult by far." Though, personally I relate more to " hope gleams in the idiot heart"

When I first heard the demo, I thought it was pretty bland, but I was worried when AL said he really wanted it to "hit hard" and described what he wanted it as a dance track. I still hear it as a mournful ballad, and I thought it should've been SLOWED DOWN. But that wouldntve past muster as being viable on radio. It's the same way I feel about Underneath. In the snippets, I thought I would love the song, but then when I heard the finished product, it was just too, too much. Too overwrought, and it took a backseat to Broken English and even the simple Nirvana as my favorite ballads. Would love to hear Underneath keep the spareness of the beginning throughout the entire song. Same thing with everyone's favorite song from FYE--Loaded Smile It actually is one of my favorites, and fans in my family have always thought I was crazy, but I DO tune out the Wah-Wah-voices-of-adults-in Peanuts-cartoons part of the production. I was so glad to hear it live (where was that? Western Canada somewhere?) where it was finally done justice. I still love when sings in that space between head and chest voice. That quality is uniquely his. ETA: sorry for temporarily hijacking kapsiz quote. As always I'm trying to type bleary-eyed on my phone. ETA: By the time I finally fix even the West Coasters will be asleep.
