Seriously, USA radio is the strangest "business" out there! I can't even imagine telling one of my customers that I "hate" something they have suggested. If I were in a similar situation and wasn't going to play the song, I would probably say something about it being "too long" or "doesn't quite work with our current playlist" or something. Do they honestly NOT consider the listeners to be their customers? I've been involved in my family's business my entire life and just cannot understand the logic used in running these radio companies. (My local top40 station doesn't seem to even TAKE requests so clearly they are uninterested in what the listeners would want.) Just catching up with this thread ----- ---- to commercial media companies, their customers are advertisers, their product is the audience -- that is all they have to sell. Not like a retail or manufacturing business. Well, that certainly goes a long way to explain the state of radio today  True, they only have something to sell to advertisers, but without the audience, the advertisers aren't going to be interested. If pleasing the audience isn't a factor in their everyday operations, that audience will go elsewhere .... hmm, that is exactly what is happening! |

I can't believe they tweeted that! haha, yeah something tells me that they are Glamberts, I kind of wonder what other RCA artists think/feel, maybe it's because I live on an Adam fansite, and don't follow twitter, but wondering if RCA tweet about their other artists other than the standard promo, like they do about Adam. |
