Glamnana...It all started with Adam singing "rusty umbrella,ella,ella...rusty umbrella." during the end credits of the GNLive DVD. Then we (well most of us were unaware of the meaning lol) found out via Urban Dic. the meaning. Now he tweets his " hand hurts", followed by the latest tweet of rusty umbrella.

My, how our knowledge has expanded since Adam entered our lives. How many mature women know what a "rusty umbrella" means????? And, how many of my non-Adam-fan friends record and play back RuPaul's Drag Race?

Of course being no newcomer to double entendre... And since he's such a good sport I'm sure he is having fun with it all!

Many of the reviewers did say that this is one of Britney's best albums. However, most of the reviewers acknowledge that it has little to do with Britney. They know that this album is a product of engineered, production and that Britney is just the face of this engineered production. Britney has no writing credits. The album does not reflect anyting about Britney, what she is, or how she thinks. It's brainless. I think you've gotten to the heart here of what I felt when I saw Britney's GMA appearance. I like "Britney's" new songs, "HIAM" and "Til the World Ends," but I put her name in quotes like that because she is more like a referent in these songs than anything else, just as you explained it. I liked her HIAM mv - but when I saw her on GMA . . . Of course, she's not singing, of course the voice is very processed - but she was even moving like an automaton, like she was drugged or injured or something. It was weird. The audience was into it and cheering, but to me Britney was just barely emoting, mostly just posing half-heartedly on boxes, chairs, and platforms. Brainless, I sometimes don't mind. But this was something else - maybe, soul-less.

it's the same type of things that are discussed about other celebrities. an observation is an observation. give me a hint of what you think people should be talking about on twitter. Perhaps people shouldn't make nasty petty remarks about people whom they don't know, on twitter or elsewhere and I don't want to speak for lindy but I got the impression that that was the point she was trying to make. Just because twitter is annonymous doesn't mean people should say whatever the hell they want just because they feel like they "own" some part of the celebrity they are talking about. it's rude and immature and sadly it seems the most frequent and worst offenders are women who should be old enough to know better. puleeeze, they were not nasty comments. that was the point. they were observations. OBSERVATIONS! sauli looked orange. big frackin deal. and who in the glam empire is anonymous anymore? edit: and yes, you DO get to say whatever you want on twitter. you don't like it? block the person and move on.

I was chuckling away when I wrote my post. Chuckles do not translate well typed..I'll bet Adam IS getting a kick out of it.
