Praying to the universe that this wasn't a one-off performance and that he'll do it many times more! I agree with all who said it'd be cool and wise for Adam to do covers, especially timeless classics which become his talent. I'm positive some songs of his own will enter that club. He changed up the lyrics a bit: Original: "We'll share the shelter of MY single bed" Adam:" ... of OUR single bed" Original: "SO I throw my cards on your table" Adam: " 'CAUSE I threw my cards..." And he added an extra line: Adam: " See, I got love, yeah..." He personalised the lyrics obviously intended to celebrate his love for Sauli and I think it is awesome and a real honour that Adam wants to share his emotions ...) Thank you for posting the lyrics changes, AleksandraKV! That simple lyric change of "my single bed" to "our single bed" makes so much difference! Marley was a well-known philanderer, so his reference to "my" bed suggests bringing someone into his bed--still could be love but it surely wasn't his wife Rita he was talking about. The "our single bed" has a beautiful domesticity of a committed relationship. I don't get all off on the Sauli-Adam but his love for him is certainly a beautiful thing to witness and it shows in his performances. And I agree, hope he keeps this cover in his shows!

I consider "Call me Maybe" as a typical kind of song that resonates with the general public. Its life cycle is interesting. It was released in Canada last year, I think around or even before BTIKM. For me it's just a cute little simple song, nothing really special about it. But I was surprised to see it become more and more popular and storm the charts. What do you think about this song? Why does the public like it so much? Is there any of Adam's songs which has that kind of quality? I do wish Adam has at least one like this. It's unlike Taylor Swift or gaga's songs that have very high sales on the debut week and then gradually go down. This "call me maybe" sales seems to go up and up and top the chart for 9 weeks (? ?), it topped the chart in the UK too, I think. Well, Carly Rae is cute as a button, and the song is light and fluffy and fun and funny and, maybe most importantly, it has a consistent beat from start to finish, which is great for dancing. NCOE is sort of a dance song, I guess, but within the song the beats are variable, which IMHO doesn't translate into a great dance song. (remix is better, maybe?) And Carly Rae's video is FUNNY. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWNaR-rxAic

OK IMHO So we have Stephen Tyler's spot left...rock/pop Adam.. Rap Nicki,Country Keith,Mariah rap/pop.
Either that or maybe Adam will be a mentor, where I think he would be the best.Everything crossed..
