But when so many of us are having fun sleuthing and speculating, why would anyone want to rain on the parade? There's time enough for you to gloat if the Idol gig doesn't happen. :-/  awwwwwwww.........not trying to rain on anyone's parade. Just being a realist. I think he's a long shot. If he was to come back if anything it would be as a mentor. I think he has something coming up just not Idol. I do think Adam may be purposely keeping his name out there and keeping the speculation alive and I do think they talked to him (a while ago) along with a ton of other people. But of all the leaks that have panned out have come from the same sources which means if there is a fourth judge it's Enrique. I think the ones who are out of the running are in the dark as to what the producers are doing. AI talked to a lot of people. A lot of people. I'll make a deal with you all. I won't stop speculating but I will stop with the snark and if and that's a big IF he is on the show in some capacity I'll even watch and trust me if you knew me better that's huge. |

He was very popular on The Celebrity Apprentice last season. He is well spoken and when he was making records I think they sold relatively well. I don't know much about him really but j/s. (Fingers and toes crossed for Adam.) Other reasons his calendar is empty -- filming schedule or destination wedding. One other thing, why is it so important that we know what the third single is going to be? Haven't we all listened to each song zillions of times already? |

I slept through all the excitement & speculation on twitter last night. Nothing new - happens all the time!  I tend to be one of the cautiously optimistic fans. I just can't flail out fully until I have some proof. Since this is a circumstantial evidence case there is no one thing that can be taken as proof, but it's all the little things that are adding up to a GUILTY verdict. Guilty, that is, of hiding the secret that he will be on the Idol judges panel.
I'm still not ready to throw caution to the wind & celebrate 100% but I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MONDAY OR TUESDAY OR WHENEVER THE ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE. I'm wishing away the weekend.
Idol has made some asinine decisions but I can't believe that they are blind to what he will bring to the table. None of the other shows will be able to showcase a prior successful contestant as a judge. It's a unique opportunity for them. And that's not even taking into consideration all the other things he has going for him.Just saw the guess about possibly Clay Aiken for Idol by Slapdash. Going out on a limb here to say: NO WAY CLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aiken's calendar is empty because no one wants him. His tour tanked and his CD sold l think something like 50k total. He isn't a good representation of what to achieve in the music industry. His music career has failed big time. Plus they've never had him on again after the lawsuit. Adam had a #1 BB and his new CD has charted top 10 in numerous countries. He just toured with the legendary Queen. How many people can say that? |
