I'm going to suggest one more article for the timeline for Feb 11. It's what convinced me that the "talking to" story was legit. It also quotes a source at Idol but the source says different words which to me says the source leaked twice. This extra from the source never seemingly got copied into other articles maybe because so much speculation was already going on. "It's true they've talked to Adam but nothing is decided yet. Fergie is another big contender," says the source. "Adam would be an awesome addition to the show -- he could really relate to the contestants and he's such a good guy. It will be a little while before there's any decision. I know that part of the city REALLY well. Oh and while I will mosey in and check out show count me out of signing... Am sure will be plenty fantorage peeps there to give Adam writers cramp : |

On his last comment Cowell said the whole idea about doing a show like this is to find a worldwide star and he genuinely believe that they have found that with Adam. It took them 8 years for them to find what they're looking for. It's no wonder why they keep coming back to him. |

He was live on New Music Live, a MuchMusic show, for 1 hour, then went to HMV, the CD store and also the signing venue, which is in walking distance. Fans followed him from here to there, so it was not a big deal if he was a bit late |
