The album Trespassing is still selling some, although it dropped from 28th to 39th position last week (33). REVIEW VIDEOS AND PHOTOS  I’m not particularly fond of the pop genre, but I will never turn my nose at a voice that can truly sing. In this case, it’s Adam Lambert who flew to Sydney earlier this week for an exclusive VIP Take 40 Live Lounge gig. I was hooked up! Apparently some people paid $2K for a ticket. A very good friend of mine in Melbourne who loves Mr L wanted my opinion of this man, so I promised I’d check it out. And to be honest, I was intrigued to see what this humanitarian was like in the flesh. Suffice to say, the boy’s got a voice and all the goodie trills, runs, improgs and ad libs that come with it. Wow! He’s versatile, too and covered Bob Marley’s ‘Is this Love’ I was mostly impressed by his energy. A high fraction of musos hit the stage and hold a facade that they’re actually interested in the audience. Adam is an exception. I watched him connect with all his fans, attentively look them dead set in the eyes and I get why he’s got trillions of them; he makes them feel special. People from all walks of life magnate to him. He says what he wants, is open to love, pushes envelopes and encourages people to be who they are. I guess that explains half of the audience being from the LGBT community, naturally. But that’s all good; it was a party. Too bad Adam’s hot European boyfriend wasn’t over for the trip; I hear he is fiiiin   more
