Got my "money" on Tuesday Sounds reasonable... if it's Monday he would hardly have time to see his hairdresser for a trim and color adjustment... Probably doesn't need any sleep if we are right about AI... ;D He may not need to be there for the announcement. I guess they need him for the final signature to the contract before they can make an official announcement . They may want to hold a press conference later where all the judges need to be present, that is when he needs an impressive look.

I think the last time he was there he didn't really like it. He said it's not like it used to or something like that... don't think he'll be back there soon :-/ He didn't say that he didn't like it or that it's not like what it used to be. He said he loved it, it's amazing for 2-3 days but not for a whole week that he and Sauli went, because it's too tiring (sand, weather conditions etc for a whole week) and he didn't specify if and when he'll go again. It was the Larry Flick interview. So if he has the time again I suspect he'll go for a weekend. Thanks, Gelly was what I sort of remembered -- but could not remember which interview. I used to think I had a good memory!! ETA: For radio airplay they can just play the single like most artists do it. Interview, play song. Another interview, play song. But I think Adam and Brian can do a fast Trespassing.

Hi Rihannuspf! I know you're a huge U2 fan and have brought so much knowledge and interesting insights into this board through that perspective. I really appreciate it, being a big U2 fan myself from the very earliest days of them as a college band. Before clicking on the Muse song, I wondered how much it would sound like U2. To me, it sounds so much like them that it has kinda spoils the song. I find myself inserting Bono's voice for Matt Bellamy. Good song, though. Just feel like I've heard it before. I really like Muse too; just seems a little derivative when it doesn't have to be. I don't know too much about music but it sounds very electro to me, even Gaga-like with all the ma-ma-ma-ma-madness. Is this really considered the rock genre? I did check out that North and South song and I do hear the similarity to U2 (without the electro sound). Yeah, I was talking about the vocals being similar not the music. But U2's 90's album were kind of elecro rock anyway so the music is not out of line with U2's sound in the 90's. Listen to the Achtung Baby, Zooropa and Pop albums and you've got everything from alt/industrial to electro to disco/house.

If you want ATop time to match your time zone -- go to modify profile, and make sure you selected the right time zone and IF you live in the a place that observes DST (Daylight Savings Time), make sure to change the default from NO to YES. ***** Based on this morning's wonderful performance, I am fine if Adam does his new single promo without the Glamily and just with Brian. And we know the whole crew will be back in October. And do that slow Trespassing during the whole promo tour. No thanks. It won't grab as much attention. If Trespassing is the new single that is I agree...not even close to the feel, energy and integrity of the songs! It is all econpmics. Obviously great vocally, but the party scene VIBE is missing. Think of Trespassing done on the New Next Now Awards or Jummy Kimmel. Killer energy!!! If Adam wants to be a pop artist, songs like today's T and NL should POP! I will even say I liked the TJR guitar better for acoustic versions. Putting ecomonics aside (as I am not the one paying the bills) I want the whole BAND to give it the richness, the songs deserve, even if it is the Take 40 Live Lounge concept.

I had my DH, who is very musically inclined (plays piano since age of 5, composes) listen to the song and asked him if the song sounded like anyone else to him. He said George Michael's Faith. He didn't guess U2. I then looked at several comments. A lot were from Adam haters who resented the comments that "Adam sent me here". But there were A LOT that said they sounded like Queen, a few that said they sound like U2 and even one who said combo of George Michael's Faith and U2. Then a bunch of comments that didn't like the new sound of Muse, that they were selling out. It has a larger percentage of dislikes that either of Adam's recent videos.

I didn't listen to the Flick interview because I can't stand the man, but there was an interview, in the Trespassing PR cycle, that Adam said he was "over" Burning Man and would probably not go again. Have no idea which one it was. Sorry. :-/
