Did not Adam tweet a link to a Nikki Minaj video with one of his effusive comments some time ago? I think he is a fan.
I sorta think AI REALLY wants Enrique. If not, why all of the clues in that direction? It is the Latin thing. He has a very diverse fan base. I was never a huge fan, but there a couple of his songs I like (the ping pong song puts me in a good mood). I saw him at the Boston Kiss concert (Adam was there) and he was Fantastic! I sat next to a woman and her son who flew in from Toronto to see him. She and I were encouraged by security to rush the stage at a certain point in the concert. She was so excited and it was exciting! His set was one of the best of the night.
I still hope Adam gets it. I think Q3 is right: trying to get Enrique, Adam is the backup.

I was one among the very few people here who don’t like Adam to be an idol judge. But as the final decision is getting closer, I find myself worrying that he might not get it. There are 2 main reasons that change my mind. One is because I want Adam to be “the chosen one”. The other is that Adam has made it clear that he wants this job. Adam deserves everything he wants. |

I agree they probably want Enrique, too. But he may be too expensive. Adam may be the back-up plan and, thus, why his schedule for September is open. But, whatever happens, it doesn't look like we are going to find out this week. |
