Interesting. You know the judges may already be locked in but if the producer wasn't then maybe that is why the final judge announcement has been held up. Wouldn't Nigel be the one organizing press rollout of the judges? Maybe finalizing Nigel's contract has been the hold up and now that he's finally signed and sealed they can get on with the roll out of the Judges.
Wasn't there some strange exchange between Shoshanna and that Popjustice person about some interview that they were sitting on. A comment made about them being old and gray by the time it came out? Earlier today Shoshanna tweeted about looking forward to reading Popjustice on Friday. Have no idea if this is related to Adam in any way but keeping my fingers crossed that it has something to do with Adam on Idol.

What does this mean? Will Nigel make the final decision on the judging panel? It looks like from this EOnline article, the delay on the announcment was not who's going to sit on the judging panel. It's because the negotiation between Fox and Nigel for his new contract and they've come to an agreement. An official announcement will be made soon.
Due to the prolonged negotiation, a show source tells E! News that production is "way behind normal schedule," and that the first thing on Nigel's to-do list is to "lock in judges."
hhmm... maybe we will finally get Elton John or Charlie Sheen for judges. That's what Nigel wants to right??? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Who would have made the final decision about Mariah if Nigel wasn't confirmed yet?

Sorry if people took my Latin men comment the wrong way. It was meant to be sardonic. "Oversexed" is a term that pearl-clutchers use. THere is no such thing as oversexed in the gay community. Remember the Adam-haters think he is oversexed. Meaningless word.

Rihannsu, if this stuff is relevant, you may be up for a BIG NINJA award! :lninja: :lninja: Random thought: How a bill becomes a law How sausage is made How Idol judges are selected You really don't want to know... :

Who would have made the final decision about Mariah if Nigel wasn't confirmed yet? I have never thought Nigel is part of the decision makers to pick the judges, Fox Executives are. So they're the ones who pick all the judges, including Mariah Carey. Nigel is the executive producers for American Idol and making sure the production's going smooth with not hick ups.
