ughhh... How should we read these tweets? They sound like Adam's not going to get it >:( I used to get ready for whatever the outcome is, like I didn't really care, but now after all the waiting, all the delays, if he gets a No, I don't know how I am gonna take it. Thinking about how many times he had to change his plan, how many things he has to put on hold just to hear No, I feel furious. >:( >:( >:( >:( I agree that these tweets are very disheartening. That going non-stop no matter what happens sounds like he is preparing us for the worst. I have been feeling pretty good about Adam's chances until these tweets. I wonder how much in the loop he is? Probably has some inside info I imagine. What about these tweets sounds negative or worrisome! I just don't get that at all from these! Besides, he probably knows nothing, but is a big fan of Adam!

I hope this is not too late for the conversation but I have been on the road all day and am just now checking in. So, I don't plan to make Burning Man a constant reference but one of the things I loved about it was the constant and I mean constant bass thump of the playa. There were huge speakers all over, both stationary and mobile, and raves going on 24/7. I think of it as the beat of the playa and almost couldn't sleep last night without it. ANYWAY, my whole point of this reminiscence is that Trespassing seems to fit that beat better than Cuckoo (which was my previous radio fave) and I cannot wait to hear the remixes. It's crazy but there was an amazing remix of Rockin' Robin. Thump, Thump, Thump. I remember when Adam talked about BM as a kind of "survival rave" -- good description, yes? Thumpa, thumpa, thumpa...

ITA -- it is very unlikely (impossible?) that the suits at Fox are consulting Michael Orland on who to select as the Idol judges. I take it as a vote of confidence in Adam that whatever happens he will be successful.

Okay, I believe this is the convo between @mers48 and @michaelorland.
merrilee @mers48 @michaelorland hate to bother you, but do you know when all the judges(praying for Adam) will be announced for Idol?
Michael Orland @michaelorland @mers48 i don't know when they'll make final announcements - but we're ALL waiting for some good news, right?
merrilee @mers48 @michaelorland Yes we are! Thanks for the tweet. I ask Shosh questions and she never answers. Let's hope all good for Adam!
merrilee @mers48 @michaelorland there is such a huge fan base on here for Adam. If he doesn't get it, Idol will really loose their audience.
Michael Orland @michaelorland @mers48 i get it, but Adam is going non-stop NO MATTER what happens. we can all still cross our fingers tho. #NeverTooLate
merrilee @mers48 @michaelorland actually I was thinking he should be doing more. Like SNL, Tonight show, Ellen...stuff like that. Am I wrong?
Michael Orland @michaelorland @mers48 you are SO right!!!!!

I think it sounds like he is saying that even though this is not happening, Adam will be all right. The large NO MATTER WHAT for me reinforces this thought. The first tweets posted sounded more hopeful or a least neutral to me. The crossing fingers sounds like he is placating the fans to leave them with a little hope. I hope I am making too much out of this.

I will freely admit that I have spent too much time in the Idol bubble, but terms like he will be all right no matter what happens or he can make a good living doing what he loves are always red flags to me because they are often delivered when something not so good happens usually being dropped form a label. Now I do not think for a minute that Adam is in any danger of being drop my RCA, just trying to explain why I find this kind of talk a little alarming. Probably Michael Orland was just trying to be complimentary.

No offense, but I don't know why people think that Michael Orland will know anything about the judges situations. If Fox didn't even involve Nigel in Judges decisions, why would people think they will ask Orland's opinion? He's not even the musical director for AI. He's the Associate Musical Director for the hit FOX-TV series AMERICAN IDOL. So I wouldn't reading to much to that exchange of tweets between Orland and Adam fans.
By the way, AI is trending in Yahoo because there's an article in yahoo about Randy's leaving AI.
