Happy to say that Trespassing Deluxe is back up on the iTunes chart. Overall 903 Adam Lambert Trespassing (Deluxe Version) Pop 116 Adam Lambert Trespassing (Deluxe Version) ETA: iTunes also has Trespassing Deluxe up with Pink's new album as buyers also bought!!! ;D ;D ;D I'm glad the recommendation is Pink! I remember all the times my recommendations would be Clay Aiken, Kris Allen, or Suzanne Boyle (yeah, right, lol). |

I was just spouting off some facts and figures at another site where a whole bunch of people think Adam is the next to be dropped because he isn't selling well Internationally either. Wrong, BTW! Not as strong as FYE, but doing well.
Anyway, in preparing my post there, I suddenly realized that Trespassing has only been out 4 months!
ONLY 4 MONTHS, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just spouting off some facts and figures at another site where a whole bunch of people think Adam is the next to be dropped because he isn't selling well Internationally either. Wrong, BTW! ONLY 4 MONTHS, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But is he really doing all right internationally? He has not gone gold anywhere and sales are so far off from what FYE did. I mean, sales are not even close.  I appreciate your persistence at that "other site," I couldn't even make it through the thread. I just knew that thread was going to take a nose dive into "Adam is flopping" territory. And funny how mj, in this case, just allows it to happen. If it was any other Idol... |

If it's compared to FYE going into its 5th month of release, then not as well, especially in some markets where it should've totally done much better, but TSP did pick up some other markets where FYE didn't and will continue to do well with help of a new single on the radio and other promo events, and...there's still the world tour next year which surely will spike up the sales too!
Besides, I think Adam is not quite out of his first 3 year "360" contract, yet, which means the label gets a piece of everything with his name on it, including his concert appearances. So, I wouldn't worry at all that RCA is not milking the cow!

It would be nice if fans saw Adam more like a long distance runner than a sprinter.
He's unique... IMHO, as much as Adam would like to sit at the High school lunch table with the popular kids,it may not be in the cards .. he's a star onto himself,Sometimes that's a lonely journey but often it's the path to greatness.
I am convinced that Adam is doing much better than I thought with this second album. When Q3 stated that the Album is only 25% of the earnings for Trespassing, I was elated. I truly don't have any idea what the real facts about it's success are, but I am feeling really GOOD .
