[/IMG] BTW never got a chance to voice my love for Map yesterday. It's behind only Naked Love for TP play counts on my iPod!
Map is one of my favorite songs. Your interpretation sounds good, but what about the bolded part of the phrase "You were a beam of light Lit up my broken sky There was just something about you I had a vision and it painted the world for me And now I'm laying beside youI thought maybe it was about his godchild, about new life in the world making a difference, but "And now I'm laying beside you" doesn't fit.
Laying beside his iphone ....... No no , maybe .. well , maybe it's not LITERALLY . you know , like he's "as close as close can be" to that higher place .... where the "awakened lay".... Hey , that sounds like the song "Nirvana" except on that song he sings "where the DREAMERS lay" ..... WTF ?? I don't get my own interpertation of the friggin' song anymore .

I think Adam was just encouraging us to open our minds and make the song personal for our own lives. But I guess I better get me an iPhone, i am obviously missing out on one of life's great mysteries. :4OMG: :4OMG: :4OMG: :4OMG: OH MY GOD , LOOOOL !!!!!!!!!

To me Map is about love and finding it. Love always changes your life and brings new meaning to everything. It changes you physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Of course, I think of Sauli but it could be the first time he has felt worthy and able to handle love and its responsibility. It is precious and should be savored. Sometimes it lasts forever and sometimes it doesn't.

I would be very hurt if it were other wise .

I didn't think about that, and I like that interpretation.

"would u like to tell us the story behind "Map" as well?! or is it our assignment to find out?!" Adam " try and imagine the lyrics about something other than a lover. Start anylizing." I believe Map is definitely about a lover. I never thought even when he answered this question, that it was anything but a song for his lover. Adam was being snarky with his answer. Like "you are always trying to dissect everything. It's so obvious and clear and simple that it's about a lover, but you like to overanalyze everything. So try and imagine the lyrics about something other than a lover. Start anylizing" That's my take anyway!
