OK, I'll play. Since Adam said he's 'laying' beside you ... the English lover in me wonders what it is he is 'laying.' If it was himself that he was 'laying' down ... wouldn't it be 'I'm lying beside you.'  (This was said with a smile ... I'm really not trying to start an English discussion!!) And, Gelly ... I think you are right. Knowing how we are, I think he was just trying to give us something to analyze. ... re English: may be he meant what he said there...i.e. LAYING HIMSELF DOWN.... like in offering himself...and not lying down ... I find it hard to believe he wouldn't know the difference...his overall mastery of the language is pretty good ... "Offering himself" ... didn't like the sound of that ..... sounds "slutty"  Maybe like "Surrendering to you" ???? sounds better  |

Am I misremenbering -- but didn't Adam tweet that Map was not about Sauli? (Really possible that I am just imagining it!) It was a question from a fan. ETA: In the Twitter party he said that Map was not about a lover. That would eliminate Sauli, I think. It definitely would, had Adam said that; ) @persianglamdr

Start anylizing.A) It is either him being snarky, like Gelly said, which is the most probable interpretation B) Or, change the article before lover into definite: which would mean - he wants us to translate his personal situation into general or our own personal. Apply the art, personalize. Stop thinking about Adam and Sauli and think about Dusan and Aleks ( that would be me personalizing it, lol), or any other love story. ETA "TRY and IMAGINE", he says. Because the Map lyrics are so obviously about a lover. |

I can never be able to join in an "Adam favorite" games like fav Adam songs, or fav Adam looks... because there are too many favorites and they are all different so it's hard to say which ones are better.
ok, there is a picture of him I love that hasn't been posted here yet, but I couldn't find it on google. I had it in my crashed computer. It's a black and white, head shot, with his head resting on his hand, side look. He looked as if he was in thought. It has a bit of nostalgic feeling. That's all I can remember, :-( maybe you wouldn't know which one I am talking about :-(

Yes, he could have been being snarky or fun or clever. I did not remember the exact words when I posted which is always important with Adam tweets. I think he was trying to inspire the tweeter to think creatively. This is one of those Tweet that could be interpreted many ways. But the song could easily have multiple meanings to the writers. |
