Is it possible that those Idols shown actually used the coaching services of one of these 2 coaches? I don't think it's that important that Adam be used in this video promoting their business. Michael worked with Adam on every song he performed on Idol. And Adam specifically thanked Michael after his performance of “If I Can’t Have You” on the Top 7 episode. I do not think it matters. ETA: And this is a joke --- but maybe they did not want to be sued for false advertising and saying they had anything to do with Adam's unique voice would be just too much. I can never be able to join in an "Adam favorite" games like fav Adam songs, or fav Adam looks... because there are too many favorites and they are all different so it's hard to say which ones are better. ok, there is a picture of him I love that hasn't been posted here yet, but I couldn't find it on google. I had it in my crashed computer. It's a black and white, head shot, with his head resting on his hand, side look. He looked as if he was in thought. It has a bit of nostalgic feeling. That's all I can remember, :-( maybe you wouldn't know which one I am talking about :-( I was just cruising Pinterest and think I found the photo you are seeking... Still no shadow #AIgroundhog (hut is getting a bit claustrophobic hope the sun comes out soon) Wait, when the groundhog sees no shadow it mean that winter is almost over and he/she is supposed to come out. If he/she see his shadow, it is gonna be a long winter and the groundhog goes back into the burrow!! So does that mean he has it?  ;D ;D ;D ;D  Uhh, are we expecting some idol related leaks tomorrow? |

Aside from the simple fact that they may not have been able to get permission to use Adam's image, if he was in the promo it would imply that they helped develop his "unique voice". The truth is that Adam came to Idol with the skills they are talking about already well developed. I for one would not want to see the implication that Idol developed Adam's talent. For Adam Idol was a platform that he came in to with already well developed skills. All of the ones in that video did develop quit a bit during the course of the show and Michael & Peisha probably worked with them. However Michael has said on more than one occasion that Adam knew exactly what he needed to do and for example although Michael helped with the arrangement of Believe in Hollywood week he stated that the idea was all Adam's and Michael was sceptical of whether it would work. I don't think Michael feels that he taught Adam anything so why would he claim to by putting Adam in a promo video advertising their coaching service. They are not advertising Idol they are advertising their coaching skills.
I deleted my whining post after I read yours rihannsu ;D because you make some good points. But I still have to say that the people who see this video won't look at it that way. We, as Adam fans, are rationalizing why he wasn't included. Others will just know that he wasn't = period.Kelly Clarkson is not in that video is she? Michael Orland worked with her on Idol (or says he did in his bio.)
So Adam is in very good company.ETA: I did not even recognize her! Yipes. |

Hhhmmmmm......searching thru old memories......methinks perhaps the one you're thinking of was one of the first magazine covers he did early on? Looking pensive and touching his forehead? I'm sure I have it but then I'd have to dig into my hermetically sealed archives and .........  I'll fall down the rabbit hole again......and dinner is on the stovetop waiting for me..... Good Luck!! I think we are beyond leaks and may finally get real news. Anyway many of these "sources" reports are not generating much buzz so perhaps they have burned this game out. Simon Fuller indicated that something would be coming soon. Soon could be around 9/12/12. From EW on 8/31/12....http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/08/31/randy-jackson-idol/ Sounds like a plan to make multiple announcements vs. one big one to me. But I have learned to never trust what Fuller says completely. Honest -- once this was fun -- now the whole Idol thing has become tiresome. I for one, am done with rumors and speculation. We will know when it is announced. |
