Nearly every photo of Adam is stunning. Sex on fire! Camera loves him. Camera loves the perfect bone structure; perfect nose; sensuous full lips; beckoning eyes . . . . But my 'favorite' photo - the one I examine closely, every time I see it - is newborn Adam, all wrinkly and fleshy; looking like he's made of molding clay. Because, since he was so new and so like other new lives, and came to us 'the usual way', I try to see if I can find his destiny in his eyes, or in his frowning, curious first gaze at the world. Was there a clue? Could he or his family have known or imagined his future, even then? Could the hands that caressed him feel they were holding a musical icon? A voice that would change the world? I look into that tiny face and wonder about all it has become; all it will become. Oh my, what a beautiful post, Momtomany ... you made me cry. You have such a lovely way with words. Thank you. Yes she is, the very first one. But you can find someone with Kelly's voice. You may not find anyone with Adam's voice. in 12 seasons they haven't found anyone who can match Kelly's success globally so that would indicate that Kelly is incredibly unique. |

Betty, thank you again. You nailed the second picture too. I love the "behind the scenes" pictures. Here is he is putting on his ear piece, I imagine his mind is becoming quite (Adam said in a recent interview that his mind becomes quiet when he is on stage) and he transforms into Adam Fucking Lambert. Let's it all hang out and does what he was born to do. I love it.

There are many talented vocalists. We can celebrate the talent of Adam without denying the talent of other great vocalists. Kelly is successful in many way in spite of being on Idol. Radio execs have talked openly about not playing her singles in 2003 and 2004 because she was from a talent contest. She paved the way for all the Idols -- including Adam. |

I was just wondering if anyone other than me has tried to analyze why we are obsessed with Adam and not other male entertainers (Besides the obvious being most gorgeous sexiest male on the planet) Over the years, there have been a few male entertainers that I thought were very good and not bad on the eye but none to the point of can't wait to hear what's next. There is something so compelling, inspiring, mesmerizing, magnetising and magical about him. How one cannot love him from the instant they hear him sing or talk is beyond me. The words that continue to rise up in my mind are these. He is the most genuine, honest, loving, respectful, and humble man that I have ever come across. All these features just exude from him and besides all this, he has the most beautiful voice and stage presence that I have ever seen. Like all of you, I want every good thing to happen for him. Is there anything that I may have left out?

Do you guys remember Japanese Freddie? Did anyone find out what he thought of the Queenbert shows? I know he turned up to an Adam show in Japan so he must've been impressed and this guy is a die hard Freddie fan :D Such fun. Loved meeting him. He is so cute!! And so serious about getting the right Freddie moves!! |
