in 12 seasons they haven't found anyone who can match Kelly's success globally so that would indicate that Kelly is incredibly unique. There are many talented vocalists. We can celebrate the talent of Adam without denying the talent of other great vocalists. Kelly is successful in many way in spite of being on Idol. Radio execs have talked openly about not playing her singles in 2003 and 2004 because she was from a talent contest. She paved the way for all the Idols -- including Adam. I completely agree. |

I was just wondering if anyone other than me has tried to analyze why we are obsessed with Adam and not other male entertainers (Besides the obvious being most gorgeous sexiest male on the planet) I've been equally obsessed with other performers before, from like 12-15 I stanned Hanson harder than I stan Adam now. I usually burn myself out when I'm really into something for a long time, so I've taken Adam breaks in the past to be safe. |

I was just wondering if anyone other than me has tried to analyze why we are obsessed with Adam and not other male entertainers (Besides the obvious being most gorgeous sexiest male on the planet) Over the years, there have been a few male entertainers that I thought were very good and not bad on the eye but none to the point of can't wait to hear what's next. There is something so compelling, inspiring, mesmerizing, magnetising and magical about him. How one cannot love him from the instant they hear him sing or talk is beyond me. The words that continue to rise up in my mind are these. He is the most genuine, honest, loving, respectful, and humble man that I have ever come across. All these features just exude from him and besides all this, he has the most beautiful voice and stage presence that I have ever seen. Like all of you, I want every good thing to happen for him. Is there anything that I may have left out? I've been trying to figure this out for the last three and a half years... I gave up deciding that I can't explain it and it doesn't matter - I just enjoy the whole obsession.... In other words - WELCOME TO THE CLUB!  |

The most genuine, honest, loving, respectful, humble and beautiful human being I've ever known will sleep with me tonight - - - as he has for many wonderful years. The most mesmerizing, compelling, inspirational, magnetic and magical performer to visit this planet and my personal universe is Adam. I don't know why his coming affected me. But he has reconfigured the me that is me. I wasn't looking. All was well. Now it's betterer! Beyond! I, too, wonder why EVERYONE on this planet isn't flailing! Don't they get it?? I have yet to summarize my experience at Burning Man. I've just come home. But, in a kind of answer to you, I want to let you know that last week - one nite - I danced and sang, in the dark, to 'Trespassing' with the BMan Tribe from Atopia - and people who watched wondered two things: Who are these women and why are they so happy and how do I get some of it? Where is this music coming from?? |
