After reading all these fun stories about all you drunks, I think I would probably give up a year of my life to go drinking with Adam for just one night. Sometimes I miss the laughter of my 20s. It seems like that is all we did--laugh. It felt so good to be high on laughter. "Life was a cabaret old friend" I can't remember the rest of that line unfortunately. Too late for me ...... the only fun left to me now is going to Adam Lambert concerts. The wild child died years ago. Ahhh...but the wild child is still alive and well. I've bookmarked this thread because I haven't laughed so much in ages. What good is sitting alone in your room? Come here the music play Life is a cabaret, old chum Come to the cabaret Put down the knitting, the book and the broom Time for a holiday Life is a cabaret, old chum Come to the cabaret
Come taste the wine Come hear the band Come blow a horn, start celebrating Right this way, your table's waiting No use permitting some prophet of doom To wipe every smile away Life is a cabaret, old chum Come to the cabaret! Sauli is such a good influence. He makes BB so happy and when BB is happy, so are we.

Being a teenager in the 80s really didn't get too wild... all night skates and the invention of Atari was about as exciting as it got for us LOL... Dude, you're forgetting the legwarmers. WE HAD LEGWARMERS! : I remember leg warmers *gulps* still have a pair somewhere and actually used them last winter - they were great, but for different reasons than when they were trendy *sighs to age and cold limbs* ;D ;D ;D But dudette - seriously, just a big no to wine coolers - K Oooh, oooh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TINAFEA too

OMG Mika!!!! LOLLLLLL! Footloose was the first movie I ever saw on my own with friends! Loved it so much-- just really thought Kevin Bacon was a TOTAL badass!
Of course, then a few months later I realized what a true badass was-- Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club. 8-) ;D

I hesitate to post true confessions here, if my kids ever felt the need to research history on my computer one stupid story I would sooooo not like told at my memorial . Small mishap when compared to some :D. Junior in high school, dang, should have waited until college and then maybe I would have known better, NOT. Of course, the usual we are going here and instead went there. Ended up borrowing a boat from a friends parents that was docked on the Potomac River, took a cruise, drank too much Rum, swam without out swimsuits in the filthy dirty Potomac, yuk, tried to return boat in same shape as it left. Dang if it didn't hit two boats upon the return. We all skipped out and insurance company came to the rescue due to vandalism. Just to set the record straight, the son of the boat owner was the driver, so technically it was not stolen. Who would guess I love a good Mojito. :-/
