Oh, and re the political thing...totally understand how pimping candidates/parties is out of place but I still think it is hugely relavant to point out that the first lady referenced the freedom to love twice in her short little speech. That's some progress and should have provide huge validation to Adam and others. I have the utmost of respect for Republican Adam lovers for it is them who show that it doesn't have to be all bipartisan and black and white.
Hope this doesn't cross the line. Acknowledging our differences with respect!

More details to come... Cover art and radio add date... All in good time. What did Adam have in mind, talking about good time here? On a side note, I think my guess that Adam didn't care much about Idol exposure was correct. I mean he likes the show and he wants to be on it, but he doesn't want to be dependent on it. It seems at first he and the management wanted to announce the single at the same time of the Idol one, but then idol kept delaying, Adam didn't want to wait, hence he pushed the managment to rollout the single without depending on Idol, but RCA didn't want. Now, he wins. I think the contest is Adam's idea. He is excited about his baby, Trespassing. I hope he has more ideas. I think now Adam doesn't really care about Idol, he wants to focus on his single. To me, we will probably never know the behind the scenes happenings of the Idol gig and the single release. I'm thrilled Trespassing has been announced, even tho as far as I know, it hasn't been sent to radio yet for adds. But that doesn't preclude that this may mark the beginning impetus for a whole PR strategy for Idol/Trespassing. And maybe not. I would have no idea what Adam's feelings are and what action he may have taken, because he hasn't made that information privvy to us. IMO we really know nothing. Except Trespassing is the next single..and for that I am a happy camper.  |
