I will say, even though it did not end like I hoped, I am very glad the ups and downs of this Idol speculation is over. That was emotionally draining. "It's over? Where'd it go? I am still speculating!"  |

When Taylor sang the song last night the camera cut to a picture of singer Adam Lambert. Do you think this was some kind of plan or was it a mistake? As Adam would say...not unless she has something hiding under her skirt! ;D Sorry. Couldn't resist. Here is the video of the performance. I guess I'm not going to react either way about AI yet because nothing OFFICIAL has been announced. My concern at the moment is that we fans are able to go with the flow a bit (many are). But I'm always a bit worried when a few beloved Atoppers express so much investment in our fandom that they are crying or feeling huge anxiety or basing personal happiness on the outcome of Adam's career. I know many of us question our sanity at being here (yo). While I hope for the best for him, I need to stay focused on my real life and not live through someone else. Hugs to all.  I am an emotional person, and always think of myself as a little bit of a bad sport so not winning is hard on me. I have been like that about sport teams also, and I will be lucky to survive the election. I do always move on after I lick my wounds for awhile, and I will with this too. What I wanted to make clear is that this tendency does not make me divorced from reality. I still have a real life that keeps me busy with a career, family and friends. There are many ways that people cope with disappointments. This one was made worse because it was so drawn out. Many different responses are considered within the normal range of human behavior. |

On a lighter note, Adam is now 92% on the Grammy Poll! That's 'cause the Glamberts are the only ones who're voting! lol We shouldn't forget about this survey, though. We should vote everyday. This one could be important. |

I sneaked in here for a fast peak to see if there was any hot news and am confronted by this totally strange story?!?!?! Who nu???? -- On Idol, I think that the Mariah, Nicki, Keith, Enrique panel is probably the panel. But I agree it is not over until announced. >> OT But I think they should have spent the money on Brad Paisley. If these numbers are right, Keith Urban looks like he needs better negotiators. Even if Adam does not get a judging slot, there are many things Idol can do to support him. Most important, give him a high profile performance slot. |

This one could be important. Why would this poll be important? I seriously doubt the nominating Grammy voters are influenced by polls like this. Wish they were. |
