I hope there isn't a new expectation for Adam and the mentorship. I refuse to set myself up for disappointment and will wait for Adam 's schedule. He does pay people to work for him and I'm sure that is what they are doing. The mentor theory does nothing to address the smoking gun of the gaping hole in Adam's September schedule. Mentors wouldn't be needed until live shows, which don't start until March. I was pretty disappointed yesterday, but hope has crept back in. Too many unanswered questions. Either way, he is up to something. I fully believe IF the Deadline story was accurate and true, he and/or Shosh would have found a way to break the news by now. But no, he seems happy and was out and dancing at da club in L.A. tonight ... I agree. Deadline is a credible source, and for a moment yesterday after reading their article I didn't listen to my own heart and had an initial knee-jerk reaction of doubt and disappointment. But when I took a minute to sit with myself and remember all the reasons I believed Adam had the job in the first place, it still all felt overwhelmingly true. So I will hold on to that feeling until the official announcement. rihannsu, I thought it odd about Pharrell's associates, too. Wouldn't it be something if Idol pulled off this level of "misdirection," as you put it. |

I was listening to a record on an old turntable today, watching the needle go round and round and round in its grooves, and thought about how worry can sometimes be like that if we allow it to just keep going and going without ever changing over to a new tune. If you are stuck in a worry groove, think of everything you have learned about Adam and trust that he is okay. You can. You know you can trust Adam to deal with both setbacks and successes and to keep them both in balance. And you know there have been many career triumphs for him this year: making a critically acclaimed album with music that he loves, getting to perform that music for adoring fans, a billboard #1, singing with Queen, wearing the Blonde's red dragon jacket, lol, fashion week, the PLL episodes; you know he is fully enjoying and appreciating these moments, as he should be. I'm ready to play whatever tune he gives me next and to dance around in the joy groove it is sure to bring my way. That tune is Trespassing. LET'S GO!  |

Adam there, Interesting who's not coremediagroup.com/19.htmlI thought every idol is signed a contract with 19R for at least 10yrs and then 19 will license it to a label company. But so many Idols are not in 19R anymore. The disturbing part for me is they will get a portion of Adam's merchandise... :twist: :twist: |
