“The little blurb in the upper left corner (the only one clear enough to read) says that Adam played in 17 musicals (starting at the age 10). Do we actually know that? What are they? It could very well be their own invention... (they spelled Eber as Ember for instance).”

I thought I would see what I can find and found 19:

After that article from Deadline and FOX will not make the announce next week, it would be interesting to see what Adam will say to the question, "So we heard you're going to be an AI Judge". We can draw the conclussion or another speculation from there .. ;D

Maybe he will say:

Apparently according to Deadline article ........ or

he will say it flatly ... NO I didn't get the job.... or

There haven't made the announcement yet .. so still waiting ;D

I posted at the very end of yesterday's thread, and I'm just going to copy it here for the heck of it. I really liked what rihannsu had to say yesterday -- don't know if she's right, but I can't shake the feeling that SOMETHING is going on that's not yet known. We'll see...eventually!

Also...I loved that tweet from the early days of this Idol speculation that said "you broke it, you fix it". LOL. And that makes a lot of sense to me. Assuming the people making the decisions have some sense. The show, from what I've read and seen, has been trying to recapture the excitement of Adam's time on the show and they haven't been able to do it. Of course they haven't. So the only remedy is to bring him back. Makes sense to me! But I admit my perspective could be WAY off since I don't follow the show very closely.

I wouldn't be shocked if you're right, rihannsu. Much as I didn't originally like the idea of Adam on Idol (as has been said by others, it would boost his status as a celebrity but not necessarily as an artist) I've gotten caught up in the drama and excitement and it would be a let down if nothing big came of this. But somehow I doubt that a let down is imminent. Based on all the evidence, including what Adam has said, I just feel strongly that there will be some kind of a twist or surprise or major positive outcome to this whole drama. Of course, sometimes I'm really wrong about things, lol. :-X

As for Adam on Idol, I am not a big fan of the show and I thought I would rather see him distance himself from it. And I was frankly surprised that he even wanted it. It's far from edgy. But the visibility really brings tremendous opportunities. And the other thing I've thought about it is this: Adam has so MUCH to offer in so many different areas. He's one of the most incredible performers as well as being an incomparable vocal artist, but his charisma and gifts extend so far beyond even those things. So the aspects of Idol that would allow him to talk, to respond in the moment with compassion and heart and wit and honesty, and to provide encouragement and mentoring to aspiring artists, would allow him to use some of those gifts in ways that I am sure he would love to do. I would think that the opportunity to have a steady job and paycheck in L.A., now that he's settled down somewhat, is also appealing.

I don't want to set myself or anyone else up for disappointment, but I really do believe SOMETHING big is up. And it's likely to have something to do with Idol. But maybe not, lol.

OT p.s. Whoever said yesterday that Jon Stewart was their god, I'm with you. He's almost as sexy as Adam! #manwithabrain
