So, common opinion is: No Idol this year. He wanted it so I wanted it. Didn't happen.
Moving forward.

I take this as a confirmation that AI is off the table. Yes and all our wishing for Idol doesn't make it so.. Adam was mentioned for Idol judge in July and hardly mentioned in August.. Adam is still new in the recording industry and his being on the panel,in my mind was a happy long shot. I'm glad he's up there with the movers and shakers.. I'm trying to be realistic about Adam's career and know that he will make his own way . We the fans are there IMHO to cheer him on,to be joyful when he wins and to embrace him when things are not perfect. Creating a pressure cooker of angst: comparison of Adam to others,and to oh no this is a failure ,OMG this is the end of his career creates doubt .. and negativity. Adam is a unique entertainer.. can we give him time and just be his loving support system of fans. It's not about us ,It's about ADAM. oh yes I was about to go back to my sick bed... |

Don't see what that has to do with anything. He went out to gay bars in the break before the Idol Tour and that was plastered all over. I seriously doubt Adam is going to stop going out just because of Idol. |
